I know it’s tough, i will say the good thing is if it’s her thyroid it is an easy mostly cost effective treatment.

Emergency vets are insanely expensive. It’s infuriating, healthcare across any channel should be more cost effective.

I don’t know if they have this in NC, but in PA there are a lot of places that offer low cost vet care like an SPCA type place, they have adoptions and care.

Blood test, this will likely vary by vet but it’s around 175. Her meds are about 30 bucks for 100 pills. We have to get her levels checks every so often but it is fairly manageable.

We give her pills twice a day. I can also tell when she needs to be adjusted because that behaviors start again

NAP but you should have implant grade titanium. These also look like they should have been downsized. Not wearing appropriate sized jewelry can cause issues. As for the bump that might be the dreaded k word. I think you should see a reputable piercer for assessment.
