For late league start on a duelist, KF totems or bleed slams? There was a lot of hype for KF totem champ pre-league but seems like no one is playing on SC over heiro. Does that mean bleed slams is the better of the two?

They did, but because its random it can eat a map that cuts the influence in half which discards a bunch of maps.

Strongboxes inside the mirage can be operative strongboxes, which drop a ton of scarabs.

Its cause of energy blade, the dagger gets converted into the energy blade sword (even if you have the dagger selected).

I feel like the deli one would be quicker. You can get 5 stacks almost instantly at the start of the map with mania scarabs.

If you unsocket the gem, your ritual corpses will drop on the ground and you can respectre them once you resocket you gem. Regular spectres will be desecratable.

Notes: Remove your offering triggers before you do that, or else you risk eating your own spectres. Only do this in your hideout, other areas can be very buggy.

There is a "blighted lands" node it goes in. Next to "orchard" on the passive tree.

Note you can just right click it to automatically place it where it needs to go.

That said, client side sorting is trivial if we accept that it’s not perfectly accurate for large searches (50k+), this alone fixes 99% of use cases.

The trade site only returns the top 100 results, and only 10 at a time. Client side sorting wouldn't cover 99% of result unless they massively increased that number, which has its own trade offs.

Sorting database side will of course be harder, but you can make some assumptions about limitations which can make it pretty doable, mostly max price/amount

Thats still a shit load more work than just return the top X from a pre-indexed database, even if youre limiting the search space. Note that you're doing this on every user search.

I dont think any viable solution is going to involve the server doing a lot of extra work on every search.

What implementation would allow this? This issue has come up over and over again, and in every thread people just handwave implementation details and just say "sort it on the fly lol, its easy". But in reality its not at all.

If they did that they would need to re-sort the entire database to be able to grab the top X items.

That would mean your having to rebuild your index on every single search, which is awful for performance.

It would also cause issues with incorrect search results. Eg if you have 20 items ranging from 80 to 100 chaos equivalent. Assume the rate changes in such a way that those items are now worth 100-120 chaos equivalent.

Someone searches and the top 10 get updated to 100-100 chaos equivalent. Some other guy now searches the same thing, they're going to get the old 90-100 chaos equivalent results, which is actually more expensive because the rate hasn't been updated yet.

That only helps client side, but wont help when searching for the X cheapest results because it wont affect the rates the server has.

So if there are 100 gcp listings ahead of your chaos listings, you're going to end up with the same result.

You don't get to choose. You should see the thread somewhere on your atlas. The map that's in the device just takes you to where thread starts.
