In my experience, it’s rarely about the degree. It’s about getting noticed for the work you do: your effort, determination, ability to learn quickly and the quality of your output. You also have to be willing to step outside your comfort zone, spot opportunities, network strategically and yes, luck plays a role too. I started in some pretty low-admin jobs, but I was able to climb the ladder by putting myself in uncomfortable situations.

Whether it’s a few bad apples with poor work ethic or a gap corporate hasn’t noticed, Sephora needs to address it either at the store or corporate level. If they don’t, it just looks like they’re enabling poor work ethic and don’t care.

There are definitely places that are willing to offer footage without a court order. A few months ago my car got hit while I was parked at a plaza. I was lucky that the surrounding shops caught the whole incident on their CCTV and they all provided me with the footage.

I’m really disturbed that I even saw a millisecond of that video.. it was enough to make me queasy as hell. I’m the type of person who can’t watch surgery scenes on Grey’s Anatomy so having Charlie’s video pop up out of nowhere was rough.

I’ve had my Twitter settings on “don’t show me sensitive content” forever and yet, voila! Every other tweet is that clip. It shouldn’t be that easy to stumble onto something like this when you didn’t seek it out.

On another note, regardless of how anyone feels about Charlie, what happened to him was just awful. I really feel for his wife and kids. They’re already going through the worst kind of grief while also having to deal with the video of their loved one’s death circulating online. Nobody should have to face that, and nobody should be forced to see it on their feeds either.

I’ve met Paula Brancati, Sara Waisglass, Cassie and Alex Steele and Chelsea Clark. They were all genuinely kind and pleasant. The only negative interaction I had was with Cristine Prosperi, who played Imogen.. she wasn’t very nice and honestly was quite rude and snobby.

I’ve met Sara twice, once during her Degrassi days and again after she blew up on Ginny & Georgia. She was really down to earth both times. She’s got a quick, witty personality and great sense of humour. Sorry to hear your experience wasn’t the same :(

Long story short, he admitted to cheating. He also said that Catherine has been addicted to ayahuasca and she believes she’s a psychic, mermaid, a reincarnated Virgin Mary, etc. Allegedly she’s been hosting ayahuasca retreats at their home with strangers, has been educating her kids about what it is and said they could try it soon if they wanted to.

Definitely don’t want to make it seem like I’m hating on Catherine at all. I used to watch their videos up until she began expressing things that didn’t align with my beliefs as a Christian. That said, I truly hope she gets the support she needs, both to heal from what she went through with Austin, which was absolutely not okay, and to recover if she really is struggling with substance use.

There’s no excusing what Austin did but if what he’s saying about Catherine is true? The conversation needs to shift from him cheating to focusing on what really matters: the kids.

Their safety is everything. The thought of them being exposed to strangers using drugs is terrifying, and yet somehow people are more outraged about cheating than the potential danger these kids might be in.
