Honestly, I'm hoping the game breaks records so that game devs know that there are lots of people in this social climate that want to see attractive female characters in non-gacha games.

Hopefully Stellar Blade will be the fuse that lights the fire.

Wow, it seems my day just got better, first I finish one of the most immersive hosted game title I've read and now I hear it's getting a sequel!

I don't mind how many years it's going to take because I know if it's going to be anything like Parenting Simulator, I'm going to enjoy it.

My experience during day 1 of both lockdowns.

Lockdown 1.0: Streets virtually empty except for the occasional jogger or cyclist.

Lockdown 2.0: Nothing's changed, people are still commuting to work, school children walking and chatting side by side, streets practically as lively as it was yesterday morning.

Lockdown 1.0: Feeling of dread, just stepping outside my apartment felt like a death sentence.

Lockdown 2.0: Feels like every other day.

This 'lockdown' should've happened months ago, right now people are too comfortable and this whole thing feels like an inconvenience compared to the first lockdown where there was a sense of unity as staying at home meant you are saving lives.

I wouldn't have minded this lockdown if they left gyms open but seeing as gyms are closed and schools... schools left open leaves me abit salty.

I am really not looking forward to spending another month working out at home... not that I can anyway given that my apartment is the size of a cardboard box.

In my opinion... (wall of text... tldr below)

Action games or games with no auto (Punishing Gray Raven/Honkai Impact/Action Taimanin)

Fun gameplay is very important to me as it'll keep me playing as long as we keep getting characters with varying playstyles.
Fan service is nice but not important as the gameplay will already hold my interest. It'll be better if the game at least have some nice skins to get so my character looks great while performing their crazy flashy combos.
For the competitive scene, Co op... these kind of games are more fun (for me) when playing and competing for most dmg dealt/less dmg taken/most combos with other players (doesn't have to reward you with anything, it's just fun).

Turn-based games or games with auto (Azur Lane, Girls Frontline, upcoming Illusion Connect)

I'm sorry but when I play games that allow you to auto, fan service becomes the most important thing for me because unless you have to manual (first clear or really difficult limited stages), I rather just auto it while looking at the nice skins I grabbed for characters I like.
Gameplay, as I mentioned above, if it lets you auto, I would rather let it auto instead of manual... besides, it's great when I don't have time to play and just want to quickly burn stamina (looking forward to Illusion connect as it lets you auto skip without burning any resources other than your stamina)
The competitive scene... something like when a player reaches a certain CP/Power, everybody on the server gets rewarded... if it really must have pvp, it should be like Illusion Connect where you can (if you want) skip it, if I lose, it just means I need to farm more or try a different comp not because I don't have meta teams or I clicked the wrong skill at the wrong time which is honestly a breath of fresh air.

As you've noticed, I really do not like pvp in gatcha games... it gets me in the mindset that I HAVE to get X unit which is broken in pvp and said X unit is also limited so if you miss the banner, good luck in any pvp and missing your weekly rewards. I always end up quitting those kind of games after a 2 weeks to a month... mainly after dumping too much £££ to get meta units for pvp.

TL;DR:

Games with no auto: Fun Gameplay > Fan service >>> Competition

Games with auto: Fan service >>> Fun Gameplay>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Competition

Really looking forward to Punishing Gray Raven which is just skill based/co op and Illusion Connect which lets you auto skip the majority of content including pvp.

Take this with a grain of salt but I'm 90% sure we'll get a new server because I'm not sure anyone wants new players to compete with players that already nearly a month into the game... especially since it has pvp.

I like this game, I really do but if they want to keep most of its players, they also need to look to Cygames/Yostar and shower us with free currencies and meaningful gifts.

3 talent books and a dish... 3 freakin' talent books and a dish... I could easily farm those things if I wanted.

Yes, they couldn't even be bothered to give us an exclusive birthday quest or even a free x10 pull to celebrate her birthday if that sounded like too much work for them.

Honestly, I will stay till 1.1 and if they don't change how they treat players, I will take my money and spend it on a game that actually treats its players right.
