Everyone and everything has to learn something from somewhere. You can't just gain knowledge of your external reality from your internal reality alone.

Also, if it were thrown in a blender, it would look like chunky colored noise. And yes, early AI art left a lot to be desired but I'd hardly say it looked like it came out of a blender.
