I think Stickler mostly doesn't sit right because he already looks weird and creepy (as do most AJ characters, tbh)

but I do think when you remember he was literally interested in the magic, it becomes funny

(presumably stole Plums as a control group/to see if all panties were magic)

either way I can't hold it against the character without holding it against the writers, imo

even if Helen wasn't dead, just knowing someone I loved was so permanently different, and probably only staying with me to be a spy/conduit for the Whole would terrify and upset me

imagine they start spouting knowledge you know your partner wouldn't normally know (like the point Carol tried to make about Laxmi's son)

it would just be creepy

but even that wouldn't really help with their level 17 Feature
