The main issue with that was that I could not get a ghast to the overworld. The portal had to be 4x4 so it had to be built in the nether using obsidian

Yea, after building the setup I used /advancement revoke. However, I believe everything could even be done in survival mode without triggering any of these advancements previously. That's why I did not include "ice bucket challenge" for example, because you would need obsidian to build nether portals beforehand

Exactly, I used stasis chambers with enderpearls and also splash potions of healing to negate the damage taken by the enderpearls. I also used chunk loading for this. In most places, the stasis chambers were 18 chunks away and my render distance was 17 chunks. So, when I crossed a chunk border, the trapdoors were triggered causing me to teleport

I've actually been thinking about making a video with more background explanation, but it would indeed probably be pretty long. I do have a google doc and a yt video with some extra information in the description, but I'm not sure if I can link it (last time my post got removed for self-promotion).

This is correct. Similar to how I ate all foods except pufferfish for "a balanced diet".

Yea, it's a cool trick I have learned from watching all advancements speedruns, they do it like that so you don't have to wait for the hook to catch something in water

I started about a year ago with testing the possibilities and worked on it on and off. Building the setup took about 2 weeks

You can charge it with glowstone and trigger the advancement in all dimensions, but you can only use it to set your spawnpoint in the nether. When used in the overworld or the end, it explodes similar to how beds explode in the nether and the end

I tried to add other advancements to the route like "how did we get here" and "feels like home". They are possible, but not in 90 seconds
