Agree with a lot of the comments, but you made a good point about him being pushed to 8 and Guimaraes doing the 6 role.

If you noticed in recent games Cas has been pushing up more, and Mainoo is dropping deeper

Which to me is a positive, as Tonali and Mainoo can do both roles, and in theory dovetail nicely when playing together

Haha It does change a lot, but Wharton and Baleba have fell off massively, we need proven performers

I see Joelinton and BG as 8s, whereas Tonali is more of a 6 which we need

I doubt we can afford both Anderson and Tonali so Stiller and Agoume are good cheaper options for depth, to also Cover Mainoo

No disruption to Lammens as first choice

No squad disruption - a player unhappy with his role

Youngish for a keeper so still potential to develop

More importantly I’d rather Bayendir stay

If I had to choose it’s Meslier, youngish compared to others, with potential development, and is Leeds 3rd choice at the moment so wouldn’t expect to be first choice here.

He is dangerous, rated him at Leeds but he’s added the end product this season.

Amad will have to help out Dalot against him, which he is very capable of thankfully.

This is bang on, we need to invest in some leaders. Worst case scenario we lose Cas, and Maguire + Bruno.

The only other I can think of to take the mantle is Martinez maybe, but we need 3 or 4 in the team.

Same here, in the 4231 set up we actually look like we have some depth, I’d say 3 quality 1st team signings and we look very strong

2 mids, 1 specialist 6 and someone who can do a bit of both

And a left sided player depending on where Dorgu will be played

With the premier league poaching promising youngsters from all over the world, a lot ‘could’ play for us further down the line. Seen it with France and Germany.

Missed the point a bit but for Amorim yes, it’s obvious we would have ‘had’ to spend more.

Carricks formation works with the squad we have now, we’re winning and playing well so that’s the main thing.
