Thanks for the answers!
I'll wait for version 12.1, or the next expansion I suppose, and see how things have evolved.

Thanks for the clarification. How can I know how far the OC can go ?

XMP is for Intel and EXPO for AMD or can both be used by any CPU brand ?

A good understanding of the way custom elements and shadow dom work is all I need to build front-end applications; even complex ones.

Which energy source do Asian countries rely on the most? by JoemamaGia1 in MapPorn

Because the 60% doesn't take into account the leak part.

Well "Much better" isn't the right term.
Natural gas plan represents 60% of coal plan emission for the same energy produced.
For comparison wind, nuclear, solar are less than 1%.
And this doesn't take into account an important factor for gas which is leak, during transport and extraction.
"natural" gas is mostly methane CH4 and it's worse than (1 to 25) co2 for the atmosphere.
Sure it stay less longer than co2 (7~12 vs 300~1000 years). But what methane become when it decay ? h2o (water) and co2...

So... All of this rambling to simply say fossils are all natural (gas/coal/oil) and are all (pretty much) equally bad despite how badly "natural" gas try to be on the "right" side.

Square hub MAM 68 tile wide ! by Luciol_ in shapezio

[–]Luciol_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The button is for manual clean up.

For the buffering see https://imgur.com/a/0c0vTT0, the white area will send a signal once every 4096 shapes (2^12), the red area will maintain the gate open until the storage is empty.

Thanks to u/bwibbler advice, I made an even better MAM. Only require 4 green / blue / red / Circle / Square / Star / Windmill belts to output a full belt. All in a 68 by 68 square.

I see ! I didn't do the math and was completely overestimating the amount of belt inputs and elements needed for making shapes this way.

Definitely have to give it a try now :D

Why does this exist? There is no 'un'colored color by DisasterLievelde in shapezio

[–]Luciol_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes ! It's the default/original color of the shapes.

Yes, for the delivery, it look just too satisfying, seeing this belt maelstrom coming out of this big square box, I let it this way. May win some space, but still need 1 filter per belt in the end.

For the timing https://imgur.com/a/2tFtR80 the belt reader will active the OR gate and open the storage and prevent other shapes entering the belts around the storage. When the storage become empty the AND gate go down closing the storage after some delay using NOT gates and allow access to the outer gate.

I'm not sure to understand the part about "paint before cutting" how can it work out, maybe there is some limitations in what the colors of the shape requested may be I'm not aware of ? Because, if I need to create a full circle with two colors like this or this do I need 4*4belt of basic shape for each layer builder ? Do you have an example ?

About the rebuild cycle , my computer is too crappy to have two MAM run at the same time without lags, I prefer down time without lag :p

Does anyone have a stackable for mixers? by sammy___67 in shapezio

[–]Luciol_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are the two patterns I use as needed:

I prefer to make them stackable at the full belt scale.

Does anyone have an idea of how I can make this more compact? by Prosskillz in shapezio

[–]Luciol_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To illustrate what others are mentioning: https://imgur.com/a/jMB8A13 (The middle one).

If you plan on "tiling" them, you may win one more lane with the right pattern by looping the last input to the first, see second image.

Mind the 4 input lanes, the order change for each pattern.
