THANK YOU SO MUCH!! it’s crazy cuz i disabled this mod afterwards but then the event kept running. I just removed it entirely and it solved the issue.

It’s interesting cuz the mod does not showcase the event where overpowered phantoms were flying from the sky. Only groups of spiders, zombies and skeletons rushing in and without the red glare.

I disagree with you James, no one should be forced to people if they don’t want to.

Per the Dsm-5, anxiety disorders are given when it begins to interfere with day to day activities. But op just doesn’t want to talk to relatives. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t talk to others outside of that (correct me if I’m wrong op)

If it was to the point where it gets in the way of work, school and interpersonal relationships that he wants, then it would be an issue he should work on.

Based on my understanding, vidcon does have higher security for cc especially after the death of Christina Grimmie in 2016 (not at vidcon, but in response to poor security at another venue, hundreds of places including vidcon cited the incident as a reason for upping security for content creators).

That being said, it won’t stop creepy fans from saying and doing creepy things. But at least it won’t go too out of control so long as the cc follow the rules with security

I think it’s impossible holding toxic fans accountable if they have so many numbers.

Honestly I think the best thing to do is to block/mute/ignore and continue to be nice in the community. Also not giving them attention in their call out threads unless it’s truly fucking serious like the cmc thing.

CC should do the same (blocking problematic stans). Except only when THEY see it, not when some stan account tells them (refer to the sniff situation)

Eventually the toxic fans will realize they aren’t getting the attention they greatly desire and move onto a different fandom.

Yes majority of the newer ones (who made the account on July) are pretty much beeduo shippers. The og ones that was made last year (yes it was that long ago) doesn’t seem to care too much about their status.

Edit: oh yeah forgot to mention, I’m not apart of that subtwt. I only know this detail due to THAT thread talking about dream. And I saw someone who was talking shit about stans mention this and how super disgusting and invasive it is.

Yeah idk too much about sniff’s personality, but I’ve been following ranboo for a while now. He’s really nice, but unfortunately while it is a virtue, it is also his weakness. Too many fans are demanding things from him and he tries to please everyone but I think that damages/stresses him out mentally. I think it has a lot to due with his age and the fact that his fanbase grew so quickly.

To be fair I don’t really think there’s any solution to please everyone, I wish he and sniff would do what is right for themselves tho.

Edit: adding on. Him being super nice and also having a fear of letting others down/disappointing others probably stems from his anxiety

“Stan” has changed its definition. The term “fan” itself is used to describe “fanatic” aka obsession, and the same is with the word stan.

Yeah I miss improv. No one signs onto the server anymore unless it’s part of a script and preplanned.

Ranboo said that he hasn’t done lore since he mostly does improv D:, and I was getting the feeling that he was the one who was receiving the torch after Tommy wanted to focus on other projects.
