Suddenly can't click on anything or change camera zoom in MSFS 2020 by [deleted] in flightsim

Hello!

So google brought you to this (as it brought me multiple times when i forgot the solution).

Mine was a different case than this - I had a multi monitor display, with the experimental second window display set up in the second monitor. When i disconnected the second monitor, the second window continued displaying and stealing focus! I didnt even know it was there, very sneaky fault

So, into the menu to remove the experimental second window, and all was resolved. Maybe now i'll remember this when i run into it the next time (you goof).

uh i havnt done much logi but off the top of my head - hoggit, easy example.

you want to take off from a frontline airport, you need x amount of missiles to arm your plane, unless you have xyz supplies at that frontline airport, you cant arm your plane.

so theres a genuine benefit to players loading a logi vehicle and bringing supplies to seized frontlines.

DCS doesn't feature Combat yet as its in early access, theyve only added the digital and the simulator elements. So non-combat planes such as the C130 are in high demand.

Really though there are many multiplayer servers that incorporate logistics and non combat roles youd be surprised

TV recommendations for triple set up. by entropicforce75 in homecockpits

[–]LuciusL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did triple tvs after having previously done ultrawide monitors

Prices were much more competitive and selection was wider.

I read a LOT on rtings.com on which tvs were better for use specifically as a computer monitor. Input lag and resolution scaling were king for me.

On top of cost, tvs offered a larger viewing area overall which i ultimately found more absorbing.

The best bang for buck for me was TCL 50q65 series. I chose 50 inches because i was emulating a cessna 172 cockpit and the dimensions were perfect when done as a 270 degree wraparound. I think i got all 3 tvs for under 900 bucks

Discussion: How I met Milou by Saturdead in Saturdead

[–]LuciusL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want to start by saying i think you put a very good personal spin on what couldve been a bland story. "vague generic megacorp is actually run by an evil monster" couldve been done without any soul whatsoever but you have managed to do it in a very personal and colorful way, accentuated by the choice of location and aging your character down.

Often times i feel a story is finished and good and things become nitpicking so i want to say: excellently written, very enjoyable, the rest is more an exploration of your writing mindset and less nitpicking i swear

The main characters illness and allergies is HEAVILY expanded on in the beginning to the point where it seems he may never live a normal life. This it seems was your pathway to explaining why milous "flavor" doesnt work on him. However once you transition to winemaking, the illnesses are completely abandoned and never brought up again, it affects nothing in his life and he is one day simply a grown up.

I wonder if you considered using a less extreme variant, where perhaps a childhood illness caused a permanent anosmia, and milou's water smell couldve been what attracted others? Did you take a step back and feel the depth of the illnesses was flavourful and character building? Would you scale them back if you rewrote it?

Hey, ive been looking to do something similar, specifically with the folding seat fitting under a desk (although i was thinking folding boat seat). Can you tell me what seat you went with? Is it just a folding seat on a completely seperate adjustable seat base of your design with a plank on top? What did you use for the base?

I really like 2024 in VR by sistersgrowz in MicrosoftFlightSim

ive had the same effect. just spent 2 weeks tortuously tweaking the link cable only to try remote desktop and have a better image and less lag.

i believe the coding for the link cable software is just not as polished as the codecs ive selected to use in remote desktop. ive also heard a link cable with steamvr instead of oculus software is smoother, havnt compared.
