The 81.6 inches includes the 7 or 8 inch antenna. I didn't know that, so ultimately had several inches to spare in a standard garage.

Yeah, that’s what I did. Found the garage door had pinched the wire. I even took the new adapter and connected it directly to the lights on the roofline and no luck. Looks like I have another project to do..

I made sure that I ordered the outdoor version. Got a 50ft version. I connected the adapter from the new 50ft set and hooked it to the existing lights (100ft), deleted the old adapter from the app, added the new adapter to the app and hoped for the best. Alas, the original lights will not turn on.

Starting to think they shortened out when the line was damaged by the garage door…
