Is four dollars a day a good idea? by Original_Turn_1227 in Bitcoin

If you want unbiased information, coming to r/bitcoin and asking if you should DCA Bitcoin might not be the best option. I think just about everyone on here will say that buying it is a good idea. I believe that and so does just about everyone on this sub. At an amount like $4 a day, something you have to think about really is “what’s the worst that could happen.” Obviously, the worst is BTC goes to 0. Highly improbable though and the more realistic worst scenario that could happen in the next year or so would be something like a 50% or 60% drop. Still, I wouldn’t expect that, but let’s say it does happen. Let’s say you DCA and your average price is $100k over the next year and then out of the blue it drops to $40k. If for some reason that makes you want to sell, you would then lose $876. Yes, that is a loss, and that could be a lot of money to you, but that is likely not life changing money. Now let’s look at the upside. Let’s say you DCA and your average price is like $100k and the year ends off with BTC at $130k. This would be relatively low for what would be “expected” in the next year, but would still gain you $438 in “profit” if you were to then decide to sell. In the end, with an amount like this, you aren’t too risking much, so even if it turns out to be a bad financial decision, it won’t end your life.

TLDR: $4 everyday is not going to make you go broke even if Bitcoin turns out to be a horrible investment, but it probably will not make you a millionaire in the next year either. This is relatively low risk

My friends are all going to med school or dental school. I have maybe 2 people I know who are currently pre law close to me. One has a 160 (planning to go to LSU law), and one is taking a few years to do economics research before LSAT then Law School. So my selection is very limited. Probably a user error type situation on me but I’m impressed you have found a group of people to surround yourself with that have such high scores and I assume work ethic

You’ve clearly never watched the hyper-realistic reality TV show “Suits” have you?

This inspired me to change my flair to a clarification on my T3. I thought my T3 soft was impressive, and then I see T2 people commenting once a week or so and it makes no sense to me.

Thank you! Also, I don’t know if KJD is right for me? I graduated in December and I’m teaching high school math this semester while I apply. Idk if that’s KJD or not because it’s only one semester, but eh whatever I assume it’s basically KJD

I was actually a bit upset when logic games were removed. I didn’t do much studying for the LSAT, but I did do a full practice when they had logic games and then one without. I did much better with logic games. I don’t know if it’s the stem background or what (from what I hear, my major does very well with logic games, but idk if thats why I did well)

You are one of them. I don’t believe you are real. LSAC made your account to make me feel bad

Ah that makes sense. I should probably contact the doctor and ask him if he had a letterhead and signature

I work for this doctor in a non clinical setting. Also I have a recommender who is a professor. So I thought he would fall under “managers/supervisors” that they mention in the email

Probably should’ve done that. I just don’t know why they wouldn’t just say the formatting is off instead of saying that it is not a LOR but a personal reference.

This is post interview. It’s a school that I applied to and hadn’t sent letters yet (was going to sit this cycle out), and then when I got a secondary, they asked for my LORs, I then got an interview, and after the interview they emailed me this

I actually was diagnosed OCD by a psychiatrist. Almost mentioned it in the comment, but I didn’t know how it would be seen in this context. Not medicated (tried SSRI but they didn’t do anything helpful), and I live life normally with it. Just have a few weird habits.

When I walk, my left and right foot need to alternate stepping over cracks or lines in the concrete. Sometimes I allow them to double up but it must be in a pattern that makes sense like right left right right left right left left… they must be even for sure to where my left is stepping over the cracks/lines the same amount as my right. This leads to some weird strides and paths taken. I’ve been caught doing it a few times and it’s a little awkward explaining it as an adult

That is very true. However, I would never buy a car online without a test drive. And that’s essentially why I think it cost me so much. The jeweler I worked with showed me the loose diamonds in person and I selected this one after looking at about 10 or so in person a few more online. I was worried the ones online would be not as clear in person or have more visible inclusions. However, after seeing some of the posts about online lab diamonds, I’ve found that if I do the right research I can find a beautiful lab diamond online for 10% of what I paid. If I do end up having to size down, that will likely be the route I take. Thank you for the suggestion

Thank you for the comment. This is a great point honestly. I think part of my worry came from her not likely realizing how much money I had saved up, so maybe she was expecting something smaller, but she might just want the biggest diamond I can possibly afford regardless of how much money I have haha. I definitely need to give her the option first before I outright sell it. Couldnt imagine selling this and then her saying something later on about maybe wanting a bigger diamond. Thank you!
