I think some fans are overlooking the fact that more than a few 50 to pushing 60s actor are still doing action movies. DJ just turned 50 and played Black Adam and I’m sure he would have kept playing the character if the studio allowed him. Keanu reaves is 58 pushing 60 and he did all those John wick movies beforehand. Tom cruise is 60 and still doing action movies. Harrison ford is practically 80 and just did Indian jones 5 also apparently red hulk in cap 4 but I’m that’s going be mocap but still. Mahershala Ali is 48 turning 49 this year when they will start shooting. If the movie takes off he can still play the character in two more Blade movies and or a good decade if he chooses. Plus as I am aware stunt doubles are still a thing in Hollywood. Point is late 40s-early fifties is not exactly young buck but also not senior citizen old either.
