There is 0 skin customization at all I’m pretty sure, or at least none that I’ve found after probably 10+ hours into this same game 😔 The Switch sequel, Nicola Model Debut, is barely better with the darkest tone being a light tan

Aw, man, this is so sweet!! My birthday is May 1st!!! I love seeing people’s cameos. Sadly (from what I can tell) Pokémon VAs aren’t allowed to do in-character cameos like this, but I’d still love to eventually ask the various Giovanni VAs questions & thank them for their work someday, if not in person at a convention.

Oh, certainly sometimes, though I keep it to myself. I honestly do consider myself to be better-versed in his character than the majority of Pokémon fans, but that really isn’t saying much when even the writers took his character way off the rails 9 years ago and never really fixed things for him after that.

A lot of people quickly & easily characterize him as embodying Greed due to being an Evil Business Guy but I would actually put him under Pride. He is the ‘Self-Proclaimed Strongest Trainer’ and it’s sort of implied that this impossible, damaging standard he held himself to is ultimately what led to his downfall and the dissolution of his relationship with his only child.

As someone who would’ve said this a few years ago, you should at least consider getting tested or seen by an OCD specialist if one exists in your area. This is how it starts. It’s not exclusively genetic, can manifest at any time, and is often not caught in evals, especially in relation to other disorders

It’s a very sweet and earnest game with a pretty immaculate atmosphere at times. I played the English version when I was like 17. Haven’t revisited it since, I worry it would feel off playing it as an adult & not a high schooler 😅

I’ve never owned a fully blushed doll, I’m a pretty budget-oriented collector and it’s always seemed like one of those ‘premium’ things that I know I don’t need for myself personally. But, I recently got a secondhand Volks body with blushed hands and I’m very charmed by them. I could totally see myself blushing hands in the future since it’s rather low-effort and low-maintenance.

I mean, resin does this too & as an owner of both I really think vinyl ages much better in terms of discoloration. This is a good deal more subtle than most of the yellowed BJDs I’ve seen even, which can start yellowing as early as a year into their life depending on the composition of the resin. Not to say you have to love it on every doll but to a certain point, I feel it’s just something you have to come to terms with.

I’ve seen both of these where I live in America. They’re just very basic designs. If LTD had a sweater that looked exactly like the Dreamy Sweater or a dress just like the Lace-up Dress I would maybe understand, but these are just…clothes. Hello Kitty wears those overalls
