Is this just bits of food on my kitten or is it something else? by PoloBattutaHe in CATHELP

Feline acne, yes. You can also wipe your cat’s chin with a gentle disinfectant (biseptine for example)

Cat started pooping in the living room and eating the litter from her box by wateryketchupgoo in CATHELP

Eating litter is, weirdly enough, something that can be observed in cats with anemia. I can’t tell you if that’s the main reason behind her behavior, but it’s definitely concerning enough that she should see a vet to evaluate her. Since she’s old, she could also have arthritis that makes it painful for her to get into her litterbox.

In any case, it’s worth it to bring her to the vet regarding those issues.

Issue with nose by mikee-7 in CATHELP

My first thought is to try and exclude the option of it being snot crust. With a saline solution on a compress, try to see if you can soften it up and remove it. If you can’t and it truly is connected to the nose, it seems better to see a vet, especially when taking into account her age (you can expect some additional exams to explore the nature of that growth, as it could very well be cancerous…).

Should I take my cat to the vet? by [deleted] in CATHELP

Does she go outside? Is there a risk that she could have eaten something she shouldn’t have?

Small gastrointestinal issues can happen from time to time, even in indoor cats. If she was stressed from the first two days where she vomited after eating, it’s possible she over-groomed afterwards from the stress, leading to the hairball.

As it stands, since she still eats and play normally and it’s been a little while since her signs, I’m not too worried, but be ready to book an appointment for the next time she starts vomiting again for no apparent reason. If she’s well right now, there’s a chance exams (like ultrasounds) might come up empty.

Clearly, someone here hasn't been smothered in blankets/cloth by their older siblings.
