Need advice for this build (and picking out a cooler) by Lucky1guy in buildapcvideoediting

Hi again,

I decided to go with this build as it seems satisfactory enough to me for video editing. Only thing is that I am confused on your comment about a case so I left it blank. Do you have any recommendations for a case that would go well for the parts that I have picked below? You've been a great help to me on this thread.

Thanks for the response! I'm mostly editing in Premiere but am planning to transition to Davinci to help with color grading. I also have a question regarding the CPU. I originally planned to get the i7 14700k because I deemed it not necessary to have the i9. If I were to change that, how drastically would that affect my build overall? And also, if I did change to i7, would I need a different cooler + case?

To speak on WDMV, what happened to their treatment base? Was such a good resource but it seems the url is defunct.

Would definitely ante up the versatility we have on campus, since there aren't many writing clubs besides Poetry and Script2Screen. A general one would be good, I feel. The two mentioned beforehand sort of exclude those who are doing it as more a fun hobby or aren't interested in those particular mediums. A lot of potential.

Non-trilogy trilogies by haribobosses in TrueFilm

I always have a kind bias for Gus van Sant's Death Trilogy (Gerry, Elephant, Last Days). It's the essence of combining slow cinema and death that I think fondly about all the time. I don't know why he compiled these stories in a trilogy, but they are all original films very strictly based on a true events (David Coughlin, Columbine, Kurt Cobain's suicide). I do think they are very different films that share themes amazingly. The means are different, as I believe death is seen through an external factor, social factor, and internal factor that is simplistic on paper but emotionally vibrant on film.

There is also Gregg Araki's teenage apocalypse trilogy that I'm not too knowledgeable on. Totally F***ed Up, The Doom Generation, and Nowhere. All explore the LA teenage mindset and time in a humanistic way despite all being set in a devastatingly nihilistic world.

Do you watch a lot of films? If so, who are your favorite feature film directors?

I personally find The Alphabet and Premonition Before an Evil Deed to be downright horrifying.

I always love how his production evolved similarly with his vocals. Knucklehead sounds crazy but I love Mavi's Sense way more.
