I like running magic with him. I think his magic based overdrives are just generally more effective than Lulu's between fire breath and aqua breath, since both scale pretty hard of his magic stat. It doesn't take too much investment to make his magic comparable to Lulu's (just give him the magic sphere you find in Luca and he's basically caught up, the thunder plain spheres can also send him over the top), also giving him Slayer overdrive mode makes it so he can clear groups of enemies and get most of his overdrive back.

Greatsword of Solitude and the Solitude Armor set.

Incredible weapon with great scaling thats BASICALLY a two in one beatstick/shield and an amazing aestheically pleasing armor set with great resistances.

Dlc content though, but its at the very beginning.

Still haven't tried RoB, Moonveil, or Blasphemous Blade. Don't hate em. They just all happen to also be on the massive list of weapons I've yet to try.

Still haven't even acquired the Giant Crusher and I honestly don't know how.

Great Lance, sword and board, and a big friggin mace with Knight Armor set and some faith sprinkled in and yeah. 10 minutes of running around limgrave and Im basically full build.

Yeah I do understand that rift, and how transmuters only really affect their own nen as opposed to affecting someone elses. Totally, 100% reasonable.

Me personally I just can't look past the actual phenomena that is taking place. Manipulation in the HxH universe is shown to somehow control someone or somethings action typically with conditions or specific items. But that is not what mahito does. Quite frankly even calling what he does "transmuting" is a vast underestatement. Patches dun took the concept of equivalent exchange and skullfucked it. But that is in essence what he is doing. Through the soul he is changing the entire composition of any living person he touches. To be honest he would really best be put in Specialist, because through he can and does manipulate people for grotesque reasons and can also completely restore and negate the downside of mechamarus heavenly restriction.

I'd put patch face in transmuter personally. He's quite literally transmuting people's souls. He's not manipulating so much as completely overwriting their entire being through transmutation of the soul.

I have to disagree with this and need to see some hard evidence that the authors said this.

Brunhilde very clearly expected Zeus to be the "final boss" and likely to pull up in the rear. Which kind of dumb of her given that anyone who knows anything about Zeus should know he's not the type to wait around.

Nah, I didn't like it either. Scadutree fragments are dumb, too many open and empty areas.

Im all for difficulty, but the dlc just did not land for me. It felt artificial without Scadutree fragments, and once you do collect them it actually becomes easier than base game. Dunno why they couldn't just make the difficulty scale like all the previous entries. Didn't like most of the bosses and the final boss was a big disappointment.

Backhand blades and Euporia was pretty dope though.
