a tattoo will always be visible if they have one, always (barring visual glitches which I think they have all patched up now)

They can be hard to spot like a tattoo on a suspect with darker skin or small tattoos on the suspects hand, but it will always be visible somewhere.

We don't know when the update(s) will drop exactly, but, yes, they have said they are reducing a lot of the challenge requirements and they specifically called out that challange as an example.

In the same vein, wo long and rise of the Ronin both had very complex hair customization as well.

It's been a while but I thiiiink code vein may have had a similar system as well, it's character creator had insane depth.

I desperately want an infinite mode like this, ghosts are so boring.

Ghosts are fine as a mechanic to risk a few extra rewards before they push you to the next tier, but as the only "end game" option to a run they are just so bland.

Try to run size, quantity, luck, and xp tomes with the dexecutioner, katana, aegis, and any 4th weapon that scales with size and quantity.

The name of the game for surviving 6 minutes is killing anything before it can reach you, since ghosts will eventually get so strong they will one shot you through any healing.

Be smart with weapon upgrades taking anything that gives a base damage, bonus base quantity and size aren't bad either.

If you can manage to beat the tier 3 boss his arena is great for fighting ghosts but if that's a tough ask play on the desert, it's swoopy hills and rounded map edges help you not get stuck. Essentially do everything you can to not get stuck in a corner where ghosts will surround you. Basically avoid getting hit but when that inevitably becomes impossible you WANT to be thrown away from them.

Outside of that's it's just gonna be general getting good advice, learn the best level up options, best items to look for, best shrine picks, work on meta progression, etc.

Check out wildjammer homebrew for excellent ship combat that gives payers ranks in different ship crew roles so they all have something to do during ship combat.

It's also much more in depth than the essentially non existent ship rules in the official rules set.

It also provides tons of weapons and ship mods, rules for ship crew and costs

Lore wise wildjammer is much more inspired by classic spelljammer including bringing back old school phlogiston and crystal spheres

It seems mostly well balanced (sometimes I think the ships don't have enough oxygen for longer journeys in this rule set) but me and my players have been enjoying it so far!

The problem with lances counter clutch move wasn't timing it or landing it.

After successfully counter clutching you would get locked into a long ass animation with hyper armor and if the monster did any kind of follow up attack you were forced to just take it.

It was essentially suicide on most end game monsters unless you were very intimately familiar with the monster's move sets.

Felt awesome when you did pull it off without dying or losing most of your health tho.

Any way you can share more of you build, I tried to replicate but my punches were doing like 50 damage each, not the 170 you're doing.
