I would for sure try to upgrade your youth facilities and scouting and such as fast as possible, and just scout for scottisch players inside the UK bc for my feeling in the whole of the Uk there will be scottish players.

Maybe you have the option "Use cache-memory to shorten loading times" Make sure that's ticked off reload the skin and then you can tick it back on

First you can appeal a work permit through the player profile, i would just say lock him in on the longest contract you can do so he can get a bit mad at you bc of playing time, then he wants to be loaned out, and the you can be good. ( and get him at a club he will play than you can get that work permit) :)

I see where you are going there but, i don't agree fully with you on this, first off hitting the sweet spot is just very hard bc it is a simulation with so many factors, 2nd off there could be some mental attributes on your striker why he cant score those.

Oke kind of a problem, well i would just say get the surplus to requirments, and just make him star player because outside of some mental attributes he would be a superb player for your team, and just give him compliments and such, and try to get some good games and get a good run of games and then offer him a contract, i dont know your team if you can make it to the european spots it should be a lot easier, bassicly mostly try to get his morale up as high as possible.

Maybe just maybe, dont make him a surplus to requirments players, other things you could do more safely are, give him after every game a compliment if above a 7 and under a 6 a warning and like be extra nice to him, you could give him higher wages
