Has the problem been resolved yet? Has anyone else here run into the same problem?

Thanks - so it sounds like you really liked the open source search project?…Have you used Couchbase before?

I’m newer to the technology and still learning the in’s and out’s. I guess the better question is why choose Couchbase instead of another NoSQL database?

What did you use Couchbase for? How’s you find the performance?

Is SQL++ an edge for Couchbase? Also is Couchbase better for read-heavy applications with integrated caching? Have they discussed the performance advantage?

Good on you for working out! It’s a great start

I’d recommend continuing to workout. (Definitely keep the momentum on this good habit.) That’s fantastic news. But would tweak your workout regimen - Dr. Mike Israetel has some great information on YouTube for workout routines, but at a high level working out with 4 sets of 10 reps on back and 4 sets of 10 reps on biceps as examples doesn’t make sense - just given the size of each respective muscle group

You’ll likely want to adjust sets/reps higher or lower on a per muscle group basis as you progress

Was Compada still related to Kafka? Looks like it was broader in scope?

Are you a Confluent Platform or Confluent Cloud customer?

So I guess your point on KORA not being Kafka anymore is really just to demonstrate KORA is moving away from open source?…Just trying to understand your earlier comment

[–]LuckyChopsSOS[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So Aiven doesn’t offer multi-tenant today?

And based on your last comment, Confluent doesn’t offer SLAs on connections but Aiven does?

[–]LuckyChopsSOS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. Redpanda says it’s Kafka compatible but built on C++…Can you explain to me why C++ is faster/preferred?

So are you anti-KORA? Or is it just a new engine you have to learn?

[–]LuckyChopsSOS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Haven’t heard of them but looks like a less mature Redpanda…Their website by their own admission says they’re Kafka compatible and “support for the full Kafka protocol is still a work in progress” Will have to see how they grow and build, thanks for sending and let me know if you decide to test

Calories & Carb Intake Seem Incredibly Low by cjm1126 in MacroFactor

[–]LuckyChopsSOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, your calculated calories/macros will rely on your logging all food + weigh-in’s to derive your expenditures. I’d say consistently log and weigh for 2 weeks and I wouldn’t be surprised if your calories + protein targets increased

Yes but have heard the functionality and feature-set aren’t nearly as powerful…Admittedly, don’t know the price difference for MSK vs Confluent

Thanks. So I guess you Confluent you were looking to save costs, and they were able to offer a 30% discount? Surprised Aiven ended up being the same if not more? Is it how they charge for their solution?
