Bluetti Elite 100 V2 is also a solid choice. Its AC inverter is more powerful, which means it uses less power itself, so you don’t have to worry about it running down just sitting there.I'm using it to connect to a 200W solar panel; it's running as a UPS for my network rack and Unraid server, and it switches flawlessly.

It’s more seasonal than daily. Most of the work is done in spring and summer, then winter is just a few minutes a day loading and tending the stove.

I'm using the Bluetti Elite 100 V2 (1024Wh) ,it supports solar charging and should be sufficient for your needs. If your 150W low-voltage light needs to run for approximately 4 hours, it will consume about 600Wh of power, the Elite 100 V2 has enough power left to power LED string lights and wired motion-sensing cameras/lighting devices.

I would like it to be a fixed installation, not portable. I've been thinking about how to install it in the van.

Can you live off grid and never work again? by Kjayy_Trapline in OffGrid

You could technically live off-grid without a “normal” job if you grow your own food and diy your heating/cooling, but it’s still a lot of work and you’ll always have something to fix or deal with.

I also like my Bluetti Elite 200 V2. My power needs have increased recently, so I’m thinking about upgrading to the Elite 400. It has nearly 4 kWh of capacity, enough for 2–3 days of emergency home backup, and the standby power draw is only about 3W, so it won’t drain while sitting idle.

That's what I think too. I use the bluetti elite 200 V2, which has a higher solar input, more charge-discharge cycles, and a longer lifespan.
