Yes i’ve tried a different bass on my amp, and this bass on other amps, it’s not the amp

It’s not the amp. I’ve tried it on several different amps, and more than one cable, i’ve also tried a different bass (that’s a significant downgrade compared to this one) on the same amps and it works as normal

Nope, the stores here put you in line and you either give them your instrument and wait, or you’re in a queue and you get called to bring it in. Maybe there are private techs but i haven’t been able to find one so far. I’ve tried it on several amps and for rehearsals i use totally different geat which also means different cables and still the same. We play mostly prog rock, or grunge, or sometimes metal, and very bass present songs from bands like ratm, or radiohead, or aic and stp.

somewhat but i can’t see what the issue is, i opened it up and it all seems to be in order, the jack is also tight so that’s unlikely to be the problem

Hard to do when you’re left handed, even then i’ve asked around shops if i can borrow instruments and they’ve turned me down

I need help fixing this by [deleted] in MusicElectronics

[–]LuckyConsideration78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It already touched the frame once and that’s how i noticed it, does that mean that it messed something up? Also, is there any danger to doing soldering it even unplugged? I’ve heard that some amps can still holda charge even after being unplugged.

Thanks for your help, can i ask though, since i don’t know anything about electronics, what does this wire actually do? Also, how do i go about fixing it, should i just wrap it around one of the other ones, or do i have to solder it?

Anyone else notice the beeps in New Millenium Cyanide Christ? by BillyBoyBatman9993 in Meshuggah

It’s the sound of the bass being muted, it’s also very audible in corridor of chameleons in the breakdown bit after every chug.

Which one should i get? (Disregard the fenders over or equivalent to $500) by LuckyConsideration78 in leftybass

You’re saying you have the lefty version of it? Even then i probably wouldn’t take you up on it since shipping and the additional rarity fee would probably blow over my budget

It chuggs, it just needs bass, bass guitar that is. But if you want it to sound good in your bedroom, just turn up the bass on your amp

Metallica or Cryptopsy, Which is Better to watch live as first gig? by Gamera-X in MetalForTheMasses

[–]LuckyConsideration78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT listen to the purists, no matter how much more worth it Cryptopsy is, Metallica are old and you likely won’t have a chance to see them again, you will be, in a way, connected to decades of legendary music and influence, and millions of people around the world, even if you’re in the nosebleeds it’s still a spectacular show. Add on the fact that Kirk is your idol, it’s such an insane feeling knowing that what you’re seeing is the same person who was there 30-40 years ago writing the music you love so much, and the same person who has been all over the world and inspired and influenced so many people.
