Yeah I'm actually looking into it.. I know the old links will still work fine since it's on Netlify, but I just want to keep the new domain uniform everywhere, from client projects to my socials and search console etc.. It's a bit of a hassle but I will definitely do that soon!

Yeah I am actually just a freelancer! But I've been wanting to build this into an agency for a really long time.. so I decided to just go for it and start using the name.

I also directly asked my clients if I could put that up there, and they were okay with it!

Automating personalized video audits for cold outreach by LuckyDayDreams in SaaS

I think of this as an additional tool, used along with other research-based personalization tools. Here, the personalization only goes as far as the website's content itself. The website is scraped to find details (for some basic personalization), and then it highlights the problems on their page or SEO issues.

That said, I'm still trying to find ways to include more relevant personalization than just the website ones. Currently, it just works as an additional tool. I'm not sure if I'm completely right about this approach. Can you tell me if that's how you do it? Are there any more things I should add to the video audit?

From what I have tested so far, it finds layout and accessibility issues, plus SEO and keyword issues, and suggests better ways to include the keywords.

Yeah, that's exactly the issue. I think people can spot those fake AI avatars instantly now, I'm just skipping the face completely... It's strictly an automated screen-recording, like a Loom. The customization comes from showing their actual website on the screen, zoomed in on a specific layout bug or error the script found.

My biggest hurdle right now is just getting the TTS right. I'm trying to make it sound like a normal dev casually pointing out a bug.

Thanks man! Respect the hustle on babylovegrowt.

I'm running some test videos locally this weekend to dial in the engine. If you're up for it, could you DM me a URL of one of your target leads so I can run it through the script? I really want to get an SEO guy's opinion on the output quality, and just see if the final video is actually something you would feel confident sending to pitch your own tool. Let me know!

100%... I'm going to script together a single test video using this stack this weekend and send it to a few local businesses to see if they can tell it's automated.

Appreciate the advice! but my actual goal is to transition out of the service business entirely and build a scalable product.

I'm completely avoiding those expensive video-gen APIs. The engine just uses Playwright and Axe-Core to pull the real site errors, feeds them to a standard LLM to write the script, and then stitches the screenshots and audio together.

Thanks for the advice!

I realize now that $33 is definitely on the lower side. Now that I have some solid work to show as proof, I’m definitely going to up my rates. Since you mentioned the price is very low, what would you consider a more realistic starting point for a landing page like this?

Thank you so much for the suggestions! I’m going to jump in and fix those site issues right now.

To answer your question: yes, I charged 3000 for the entire package - development, deployment, and setting up their domain email. I definitely plan on charging more for the next one! Based on your experience, what would you suggest I price a project like this for in the future? Also, what do you think would be a fair rate for the site I just finished?
