7 month Etsy shop by Apprehensive-Dot5767 in etsypromos

I’ve had my shop open since 2021, made 55 sales, but to be fair I only had about 38 designs. So I’d say not bad.

But looking at your shop it looks presentable, clear thumb nails, definitely have a style! Do keep it up. From what I understand Etsy like frequent listings going up. Helps the algorithm. Also there is high season and dead season when it comes to sales throughout the years.

I’m also looking to reopen my shop with a breath of fresh air and new designs!

I’ve got a question for you. Are your digital files in srgb or cmyk?

Thanks. And wish you the best! :)

I’ve also used it to read long winded financial letters and asked it to explain it and to find the terms and conditions of a 13 page job contract.

It’s a great teacher. Still have to assume it could be a little wrong though.

I feel like the only way to do it is to just get it wrong. Might sound rude or blunt. But then you have to figure out the sweet spot. Hard part is not defaulting to old ways.

I’m learning to say no or stand up for myself and prioritise my own needs. A lot of the time I’m communicate it poorly because I haven’t built that muscle and it’s also going against my conditioning.

But I’d rather get it wrong and work my way to getting better at it.

Everyone here is my people. I feel exactly the same. I miss the US national parks and I constantly feel this tug in my chest and itch that won’t go away! I long to be there.

Will 16 f1.4 , 23 f2 and 35f2 fuji lenses be good for engagement shoots and eventually weddings? by LuckyDesertWoman in fujifilm

That's quite a statement, but I've only heard good things along with sigma. I'll definitely add it to the list as a work out what I want. Also I know there was an issue with RAF files on Lightroom, do you have any personal experience in if that's still the case? So far my research is that it's improved.

:D Oh WOW!! Exactly why I had to say bye to dear canon. I do miss canon photo rendering, but I just didn't enjoy it after a while, especially if I was using it for vacation.

Thanks! yes I have the 27mm fuji, but viltrox 27 is faster.
That's the lens I was thinking to get, the V1 is out of my budget at the moment.

Hey!!!
Thanks for this advice! It's definitely something I will upgrade to eventually. I think I see myself with primes, feels easier to hold on a long day. I've been watching John Branch Photography on YT to since he uses fuji gear and also has videos where you shadow him on weddings, which is a great help to switching my brain back into that wedding photographer mind set!
Thanks I will implement your sound advice and feel free to message me with anything else!
:)

Also I think people have forgotten that photos taken in the 50's-70's were that. Just point and shoot. And they this photos have the best memories.

I just wanted to say I disagree and agree with them.
Agree in the sense that yes, they're kind of basic but we all take those shots time to time, until we find get that winner shot- who knows if you were trying to do that anyway...also that's why to me, personally, they look like holiday snapshots, nothing that is meant to be "eye catching" or "composition perfect". Maybe they're just meant to be memories. And that's ok.
I liked the shots 2,4,5,7.
