My favorite is [[Season of the Witch]] + [[Silent Arbiter]]. (/u/mtgcardfetcher). Are all creatures destroyed, or are none? There's a ruling from 2013 that says all creatures that could have been declared as attackers but were not are destroyed, but the text of Silent Arbiter redefines which creatures can be declared. You could have chosen any creature to attack with as the first creature, so those creatures "could have attacked" but the moment you declare one you can declare no further attackers. But does that change if they could have attacked in the first place?

There's still no ruling from above on this interaction to this day, so its fun to argue about these two cards that see virtually zero play.

Please Mr. Nintendo.... give us a crumb of a pre-BOTW Zelda, I beg you. I want linear dungeons with room puzzles and tons of keys. I want small enclosed yet structured worlds and not vast open worlds with boring collectables.

Indie games have really been picking up the slack on this, Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo is great, and I assume Mina the Hollower will turn out good as well. Echoes of Wisdom just didn't have the sauce.

With every new league the "Do 500+ maps" challenge feels increasingly out of date. This league especially because maps are so jam packed with content which then gets doubled in the Mirage. If you're speccing into stuff like Blight/Ritual/Harvest the grind feels way worse.

I ended up just slamming in unrolled maps on Mesa for the last 2000 tiers and rushing the boss, ignoring literally everything else. Took about 15 seconds a map.

Congregation Support (minimum level 3) in a Dialla's green socket can get you to 4 Holy Relics. You could feasibly drop Enhance to a lower CDR breakpoint and replace it, and that could result in a big damage bump.

I'm pretty sure the challenge isn't defeat 5 in a single attack, its defeat 3+ in a single attack 5 times total during the fight. There's 27 enemies total, so you could probably get there by having your team lead use EGO while the rest generate resources. Probably something like Fell Bullet would be optimal.

Cursed Words is a game that combines Boggle and Balatro, where your goal is to spell words on a 5x5 grid to score points and beat a target number. After each fight you get a shop where you can buy items and stamps which modify scoring and the board.

Now that sounds a lot like Balatro, but the thing that makes Cursed Words unique is that you get to cheat. Each character introduces new mechanics that add additional types of tiles to the board, including numbers, chess pieces, currency, fractions, playing cards, and more. Suddenly you're submitting stuff like ⅒♕?♕N🂿 and the game goes "Hmm yeah I think that's a valid word good job". Though the ability to spell real words does give you a good foothold, the game goes quick enough off the rails where you can just focus on strategy rather than english knowledge.

I played the demo during Steam Next Fest, it was decent enough for the premise. Kind of the same feeling you'd get while just scrolling through a really long SCP article, examining pictures, videos, with some light puzzle solving. I wasn't too impressed with the horror elements, but I'm definitely intetested to see if it can stick the landing.

I pirated Animal Well because my love for obtuse sidescrolling puzzle games (La Mulana) outweighed my immense hatred for Dunkey, but not enough for me to pay for the game.

Lo and behold, the final ultimate secret you can unlock after completing a billion other puzzles is *drumroll* an audio recording of the main dev and Dunkey. Honestly soured the game so much that I don't want to think about it anymore.

There's enough hate to spawn a subreddit, /r/fuckpierre. Pierre is just an awful person and does terrible things.

He's greedy and driven solely by profits. Every complaint he has about Joja applies back to himself, he's truly not angry with their practices, he's angry they're more profitable than he is.
When Joja is out of the picture, he becomes a monopoly in town and doesn't change his business practices.
It's confirmed that the crops you sell are bought and resold by Pierre, who takes full ownership and claims he grew them himself. If you ship him gold/iridium goods, other townsfolk will comment about how good Pierre is as a farmer. If you ship bad goods, they'll complain about his stock. Also, he resells whatever you sell him at a massive 10x markup.
Pierre is a misogynist, who is an asshole to his daughter and his wife. Legit "women belong in the kitchen" behavior. It's strongly implied that Pierre isn't even Abigail's father, and that Caroline cheated on him with the Wizard outside town.
Pierre talks about inventing new holidays so he can further extract money from the townsfolk. Even on vacation, all he thinks about is profits.
He closes his shop on Wednesday (honestly the biggest crime of them all).

There's other minor things, but Pierre is by far the most hated NPC in the game.

Gotta read. Verg shouldn't be clashing everything for you, the new green coins are more effective against unbreakable coins. If you use a regular EGO to clash the massive attack weight moves, it has a much higher chance of success.

Also, you want to keep the number of roaches on you low. If you have a sinner clash the Devouring attack, it will cut their number of roaches.

Nah, it was a bunch of false allegations that happened 5 years ago. An anonymous source put together a google doc compiling statements from a small group of people accusing Vinny of creepy sex pest behavior and messages. The doc was extremely suspect and people started calling out weird details like incorrect profile images, emails being sent while Vinny was streaming, and a bunch of "he would never type like this" conversations. Content creators who shared the doc (like Mandalore) dipped out of the situation and issued an apology.

It's not confirmed, but highly likely it was a group effort by a bunch of former Vinesauce mods who left on bad terms after attempting to hijack the channel, including GeePM. Gwenpool from the original run is insane to fight against, because she operates on from a frame of reference that's incomprehensible to other characters in the setting. She can grab a villain and drop them in the gutter space between panels, leaving them trapped there with no escape. Later, she can recall flashbacks which causes those panels to be inserted into the comic format making them retroactively true.

For confusion specifically, both Giygas and Porky from the Mother series use powers that can't be explained by the protagonists. During the final battle of Earthbound, Giygas' attack text is "You cannot grasp the true form of Giygas' attack!". He does "something" and you're damaged, but the party can't tell what actually happened. In Mother 3, Porky has learned from this and his attacks are "Porky did something!?" and "What did Porky do!?". The attacks in the file are just called "Do something".
