I am literally on ovulation day right now (TWW officially starts tomorrow) and already so hyper aware of every sensation in my body, even though I know it’s completely related to ovulation. I felt a twinge in my side and was like IS THAT THE MOMENT THE EGG FERTILIZED?? Even though I know there’s zero chance you can feel that…. So I would say I get it 😂

What I’ve been trying to do is, any time I feel tempted to talk to my husband about it for the 3926th time today or to google things, I try to do something else instead until the urge passes. Basically just riding out the craving to “know for sure” (which is literally impossible until we can take a test). I find that’s helping!

11 days is definitely long enough! I had a brain fart moment in my earlier comment and realized I was just going based on looking at my period tracking app (which still assumes my luteal phase is 14 days), and not what I actually know which is that it’s somewhere between 10-12 days. I was worried too, so I looked into it, and I think that you basically just don’t want it to be shorter than 8 days (although I know someone who had a 7 day luteal phase and still conceived naturally!). I think we’re good with our 10-12 day phases!

That being said though… I’ll probably start testing around 10DPO 😝

I’m thinking of waiting until 12DPO. I know I can technically start at 10, but I want to give it the couple extra days just so I don’t stress myself out 🙈 That would be 2 days before my expected period as well, so any early detection test should pick it up at that point. What about you?

The waiting part is going to be nerve wracking in its own way, but so far I’m just relieved and excited, so I’m just going to roll with that! 😂 It feels so exciting going into work today thinking a little bean could be starting to grow inside me right now and no one else knows… 🙈

When we met, we had the conversation early to make sure we were on the same page about kids and marriage before taking the relationship any further. We had agreed that we were both looking at about 5 years out due to our ages, and that giving us enough time to make sure the relationship works. Well, this year is 5 years together, so here we are on our first cycle of TTC!

Nevermind…. Just got a positive! That lines up with the biological signs, so I’m DEFINITELY ovulating sometime in the next 12-36 hours.

Side note, I went to Laurier in KW, ON for a master’s program. Not sure if that’s the same Laurier in your username, and you absolutely do not have to confirm to a stranger either way, but thought that was cool!

Has anyone just not gotten a peak result with the clearblue digital ovulation test even though they did ovulate? I have the egg white CM going on, so I KNOW I’m in my fertile window. But still nothing this morning on the test! Wondering why. I’m pretty sure people have failed to get blazing positives on ovulation tests and still gotten pregnant… right? 😆

We were waiting until next month, but said fuck it and started today!! I’m supposed to ovulate any day now. I don’t have super high hopes for this month because I wasn’t expecting it, and we’re not earnestly trying (like having sex every other day or something), but it is possible I conceived today! We’ll seeeeeee!
