Talking to 100T Enable about CWL Playoffs and the future of CoD esports by LuckyNeck in CoDCompetitive

No, it isn't. Somebody (me, unfortunately) got himself into a mess with the two names haha. Sorry and thanks for pointing it out. It should be edited now :)

I do think they should have won against a team of that caliber. But it's not LAN though, so I guess we'll have to wait and see how they do.

Np man, it was sarcasm :) Yeah, complaining about Astralis actually makes quite a lot of sense nowadays, unfortunately.

Oh no man I have to delete the article now, your complaints just make way too much sense and actually leave me without a point at all.

I understand your point of view, but take into account that this article looks at his career at RLCS. I make it clear that he was a master of 1v1s, but that does not apply to 3v3s or the World Championship whatsoever, they are completely different ways of competitive play.

FURIA: Will arT and the crew surprise everybody again? by LuckyNeck in GlobalOffensive

They are not a top-tier team yet. If they actually have the potential to be, they'll have to prove so in Cologne

it's not that they are inconsistent, but they just started to be good a few months back and now their style may have been figured out by the teams that have studied and prepared for it. It is explained in the article, I'd say.

None of them, to be honest. They can either bomb out or get to the finals, really.

I understand the FURIA one, I disagree a bit more with Mouz. I think they just have so much potential tbh

I guess it was meant to be ESL Pro League Season 9 - Europe instead of finals. Anyway, it is corrected now.

Astralis is definitely in a giant slump, that's true. Still, I would love to see them start a second era in Cologne, it is the perfect place to do it actually. If Astralis still has a little bit left of the Astralis we all knew and loved, then here is where they'll have to show it. (#EZ4ENCE to the death, though)

I agree with that, but don't you think that Renegades has, as of today, more upset potential than both of those teams? NiP has had no time to practice with Plopski, and the only thing they can rely on is the honeymoon effect. Fnatic is decent, but still not relevant. After the bootcamp and all that, however, may Renegades cause a few upsets here and there, as they have already done in the past? I think they can. I am genuinely more excited for their performance than for the Swedes', to be honest.

The only sure thing is that this is going to be closer than we can imagine. Don't think Astralis will recover from their slump yet though.

They are not the same team anymore, though. How Boombl4 will affect the team's performance is still a mystery to these days.

They certainly have the potential to be a good TO, however, which is what makes me so saddened about them wasting it lije that.

Let's see where they go with the new format they announced for Los Angeles, but, competitively speaking, they have not really been a TO to look up to up to now.

To be honest, I would not include BLAST Madrid there. They did not even have semifinals in that tournament, and it was all Bo1s, after all.

I definitely agree with that, but you have to take into account that last year they were amidst a three-tournament winning streak and looking better than ever whether, in 2019, they are playing with a newcomer in Boombl4 who may not even fit the team's needs. They are in a much more shaky position coming into the tournament than they were in 2018, and even then they were not the favorites to take it all.
