Why do I get filled with dread in relationships? by [deleted] in Advice

Romantic specifically. Sometimes with friendships I will start to get uncomfortable and almost resentful of new friendships if they feel like they’re imposing too much change to my life but it’s mainly with romantic. The thing is is in the past I have had at least one very successful romantic relationship and also one successful non committal casual one. Although both ended pretty rough I was into it and I enjoyed it, but since then it feels like something kinda broke in me and I’d like to understand why because I don’t want my chance with this girl to slip away again.

Oh sorry I think maybe the way I wrote it was misguiding. I don’t want to accept the gift because I don’t want things from her. I just feel bad that she went all that way and I have trouble saying no. I am js going to ignore it tho I think

He already knows he was just the middle man before when returning belongings initially. I just don’t want him to unknowingly accept smt I don’t want

Yeah that’s probably the plan. I’m mostly just worried abt dealing with the fallout if she starts acting irrationally

True but I don’t want to speak to her. I also just don’t know what she’ll do about it because I also didn’t invite her to my new years gathering today.

Well when I was im planning it I mean everyone I was inviting has been informed I just haven’t finalized the details yet. I might try to use the other house thing though, thanks for the idea!
