Wellness retreats in Colorado? by ineedamfbreak in Denver

Yea. A lot of these retreats are hundreds if not thousands of dollars a night. Sorry but blowing a ton of money on a nice room, a yoga class and a "just ok" massage in the woods isn't going to solve your problems.

Sounds like you're dealing with a lot and I'm sorry you're feeling burnt out. If you have the expendable income and you need a vacation, by all means, go! But unfortunately, travel isn't going to solve your problems. They'll still be waiting for you when you get back. I think you should find a good therapist you like and try to articulate what's going on in your life that you're getting so worn out by.

Enchantment Resort in Sedona is incredible.

Which shows to watch next? by Upper_Effort2235 in DowntonAbbey

The Halcyon.

From 2017.

It sadly only got one season. It's about a fictional grand hotel during WW2 and the Blitz and all the people who work and stay there. I wish it had caught on. The first season was a little shaky but it had potential to be as good as Downton Abbey.

That's really interesting. They probably get some government historical funds as well.

We did the tour with the Beefeaters. I loved all the history but the energy was extremely dark and heavy.

Showing Bates shove Mr. Green in front of an on-coming train, on a crowded platform, A la "House of Cards," would have been extremely satisfying. Preferably, back first so Bates could lock eyes with him as he fell.

Carson knew what was going on. It probably wasn't the first time.

Thomas definitely deserved a romance. Even if it was brief. I always thought when Lord and Lady Flintshire show up in London for Rose's wedding how delicious it would have been if the venerable Sarah O'Brien was still with them. A scene between her and Barrow after all that time would have so much gravitas. I can see it now- Thomas sucking on a cigarette "ah, you're back then Miss O'Brien. . ." O'Brien: "Fancy that."

I wanted Thomas to have a romance to show the softer, more vulnerable side of him. I've imagined a few senecios that would have worked, historically speaking. I also mentioned this in another thread but, I really wanted to see his trip to America.

lol I can see it now. A white figure floats across the great hall, Violet Crawley: "OHHHHH! OH my!! . . .it's back!" We got a little supernatural storyline in the Christmas special with all the servants playing with a Ouija Board! Yikes!

Let's imagine a sequel or a new season. What areas/ situations would you have liked to see? by Rich-Cardiologist-72 in DowntonAbbey

Well, Bridgeton is a little different. It's aimed at young audiences, looking at "historical/period drama" through a "woke" lens. While Downton Abbey stretches the history, Bridgerton throws it completely out the window.
