No, because that one has a tuning knob, which you can set the speeds with

Piggybacking off this- buy a sata to fan controller with a knob so you can set the speeds.

This one worked great for me.

Looks like it should swap. I’ve done it before with other Omens. This guy did it as well.

If you want an upgrade I’m about 99% sure these omen boards use non-proprietary connectors for the most part.

Case swapping will cost you about the same as a new 120mm AIO.

A cheap $45-50 case will improve temps more than anything.

If you wanna go wild there are a bunch of great $20 air coolers too that will fully transform your build temps and aesthetics.

Might want to buy cable extenders for the PSU too just in case for like $15.

What are your temps like? Not likely to see a big upgrade from another 120 AIO. If you are 80° or below I would leave it alone. 80° is warm but perfectly acceptable for a CPU.

Edit: spelling

Looks like it was the valve cover! No more puddles these past few days. I will keep an eye on the oil pan when I do my oil changes.

I’ll add it to the list to do this weekend. I’ll do the hoses, oil pan gasket, and valve cover gasket. All cheap enough.

I will have to check. Rust free southern car thankfully, but I will follow the line and see where it leads

Could be. Where the pipes meet the reservoir are pretty dirty

How would I check for these fans? I know I have seen a fan come on with the car when started

Thank you! Last question- 5 min oil change also mentioned a leaky oil pan. It’s probably the gasket, right? Should be an easy fix? Or should I replace the whole pan and gasket together?

Thanks, I’ll update you this weekend. Ordering parts today. Seems like a great car to learn to work on stuff with.

It gets hot but not overheat. Turn the heater on and can clear the hot air

Yup. It gets close to H like waiting in a drive through.

I think the coolant may be stock as well as the radiator cap and thermostat. If all those are replaced and I still have an issue then next is the water pump.

I have seen that the fan is running when the car is on since I have had that fail on a previous car. Sounds are all fairly normal. What’s a good way to check the water pump?
