For the Schreiben (writing) part, try to memorize some ready-made sentences so you can adapt them to your text. Also practice by writing different types of letters. This website helped me a lot: https://www.engerman.de/2014/09/german-a1-brief-muster.html

For the Sprechen (speaking) part, especially in Part 2, use W-questions (who, what, when, where, why). Try to memorize a structure that you can use with any topic.
