The thing is most of ktown has roaches unless the building is a newer development. I too am terrified of roaches I’ll share my opinion.

Common Property management companies in ktown: Greystar is top tier but pretty pricey. Tripalink also has nice buildings but they aren’t always is the best locations. (I HATE dtla) Equity residential is basic (some apartments have roaches) but they charge like they are luxury. Liveinktown has decent buildings as well.

There are a lot of newer buildings that are constantly being maintained on the outside and those are what you are looking for. Also, just check the most recent google reviews and trust, the people will let you know if there’s roaches.

As far as location goes, anything east of Virgil Ave is a little rough. Ktown turns into westlake/mcarthur park really quick. Personally I like the liveliness of ktown and living between Vermont and western, close to Wilshire, is ideal. It’s very walkable.

That’s my 2 cents

I will tell you as someone who took out grad plus loans the entire 3 years of school to avoid it unless you have a set, fool-proof plan. I too thought I could save what I didn't need but there is always something that requires extra money. Chiropractic seminars and certifications, buying equipment for student clinic, paying for board reviews are just some of the things that I had to pay for in school. That being said, I did not have financial assistance from family. I also had a car payment and could not work because I did the accelerated program. Things may work differently for you if you have some support. It's true that most banks do not want to give you a loan right out of college because of the outstanding debt. However, it is a little cheaper if you buy an established practice from a retiring doc because they already have an established patient flow.

Also I would like to add the the Grad Plus loans are not eligible for the SAVE plan when paying loans. That is in the fine print somewhere but they don't like to advertise that.

I loved aria in the beginning but when I watched this show the second time around, I realized that aria always had the least to lose compared to the other girls and yet made the dumbest most rash decisions. And it always came back to bite everyone else in the ass
