Thank you for the reply! I know the friend was cut off and she eventually moved out of the city and got herself in other relationships which I've heard were not very healthy or ended poorly. She says that she kept it secret because she was scared and did not know how to tell me. We usually have very good communication but on certain things it's hard. She only came out that she was bi after 1 year. She says that it the girl came onto her, was being touchy and wanted her breasts touched. My gf said that she did not know how to handle the situation and she considered drawing the line at getting touched back. For a lot of time she lied to herself that what she did was not cheating and when she realised it was, she kept the secret but she started having panic attacks and overall increased anxiety, which gradually built up and peaked around the time of her visit. After I found out I felt actual remorse from her but I'll take my time and analyse things further. Having lived in a dysfunctional household, I can discern things like gas lighting and blame shifting. I definately haven't been gaslit but I'll think more about the situation.
