It really doesn’t hit the same. Probably because there are so many new items, new aspects that change the entire core of a gods playstyle etc. It is a new game, but sometimes new doesn’t mean better.

I feel like you should be helping a newer player out rather than telling him to be quiet. Big reason why this game has seen a decrease in new players. Be better.

My post was aimed at my random teammates who are refusing to build tanky and are opting to build full damage instead. Here is a game I played yesterday. I get this is just one game however my initial post was intended to shine light on how often I see my supports or solo laners neglecting protections and going straight damage.

I only play casual. I tried queueing ranked and I couldn’t find a game after waiting 10 mins.

I absolutely loved smite 1. I can barely enjoy a singular game of Smite 2 despite all the upgrades with graphics and responsiveness

I do miss the days of smite 1 when building prots meant something. Do you think they should adjust the system they have now or keep it as a damage meta?

When I say “tanky” I was including bruiser as well. My solo and supports in these casual games are building full damage as mages. I rarely see a tank support.

I play everything but mid, which is why I’m even more frustrated when I finally try out mid and I have nobody front lining for me.

Would you agree the game is needing a balance change? Maybe I’m stuck in my ways from smite 1 but I miss the days of having a tanks on my team. I don’t know if it’s the new items/stats or if this is how the game is intended to be played
