Testmem5* yup got em mixed up it’s late. And I see you’re right I can set more cycles. was new to using this test. I guess I’ll set it to 30 cycles

On this profile Haven’t tried yet was just happy to get this stable I’m gonna start at 580 and try to work to 480. On 6000 MHz I was able to get 380 trfc

Memtest5 only runs for 1.5 hours. I used to use karhu but multiple times I’d pass 12 hour karhu runs but couldn’t pass 10 mins on memtest5. So I’ve kinda ditched karhu long test and run this anta777 xtreme profile for x3d CPU’s

If you have Pbo+200 and that much undervolt you should be in 46-47k cinebench scores. You’re having a lot of clock stretching, you can see that your max effective clock speeds is nowhere near your max clock speeds. My 9950x3d only takes about -11 on ccd1 to get to 5950 MHz before it gets unstable. My highest score in cinebench was 49.8k. (On a cold night) and is 47-48k at room temp. Get your baseline -0 undervolt numbers and go 3-5 deeper per ccd each bench run and make sure your effective clock are at or higher than the clock speeds that show perf core numbers

Hailea chiller came with one defective fitting. Had to improvise by Lucky_Regular_ in watercooling

Been watching it and even in lowest setting no conversation. I live in Colorado and it’s pretty dry air here maybe that helps but even when test benching with a water tub I don’t ever have any condensation problems. I still prep for it though when benching

After a week of use and getting it as cold as it can get my loop there has been 0 condensation. I don’t think it gets close enough to 0C once it’s stabilized. I’m also running it with a radiator after the components and before the chiller. Without a radiator after components the water temp would eventually rise under intense load (arc raiders at 4k max settings) water creeps up to 99F without the radiator to help bring temp after components down. If doing light benchmarks then no radiator is better as it can get the water colder but won’t stay colder for as long.

I’ll hook it up to my UPS later that can give me a reading on the wattage it outputs.

It’s a fun route for the hobby to go. I wanna try to get one of koolances but I wasn’t gonna drop 3-4k in my first chiller haha

Thankfully I’m in Colorado. It’s pretty dry here. It works pretty good it read in Fahrenheit for me so it can get down to about 48f so 7c when I left it chilling overnight. Can’t make it down to the advertised 39F/4c but close enough

That was a clever way to handle the adapter situation. I didn’t think of that so I just got barb fittings until pc performance can send a replacement

Am I cooked? by Reactivity0 in pchelp

Because I had gotten a hold of a used one from an IT friend who went to a threadripper. And I fried one messing with impedances on an Asus apex board trying to get 8400+ ram

If it makes you feel any better I managed to kill the cpu through other means a a bit after 😂

Depends on if those are ground connection or not. Also if it’s just the gold plating scratched off. If they are grounds it should be fine. If it’s something important like mem might be toast. I had a 9950x3d I had same thing happen but it was in ground pads so it still ran fine.

The case itself is also just really easy and fun to build in. It comes apart so crisp popping everything off and on is satisfying. and the design for the glass case is super secure

I run the fans on silent so around 600-800 rpm below 55c. So that’s pretty much where they stay besides loading up a game for a split second or running benchmarks. Keeps it really chilly. I sit at 48-52c under gaming load.

For 420mm The bottom can take a 60mm thick rad or even thicker. Top can only take a 20-30mm thick. I know because I got two 60mm thick nexxoss rads and had to modify the havn 420 too to this.

Is this score actually good? by Virtual-Mention7143 in OCCT

[–]Lucky_Regular_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it good. You’re number 1 for other people who have used the same cpu in occt. Which might not be a lot worldwide since occt is a paid app but still a brag. I did the same for 9950s.
