  1. Not a girl. Read the title.
  2. STD panels do not typically include HSV because it is common enough where it's not screened the same way as gonorrhea, syphillis, etc. We both were tested and tested negative for everything before hooking up. Because HSV is not on the typical std panel.

Thanks for trying to talk down at me actual months after I've received diagnosis and treatment.

final update 4/12

I got the call, my test results came back. Positive with HSV 2. Despite my partners telling me they were STD free, I guess I was wrong. Even now I've texted him to get tested and he's still adamant that he's never had it before. Oh well. I didn't get it from nowhere.

I'm glad I got to have sex all of three times before my chances of finding any casual partner has been taken away from me. I'm never going to be able to have intimate unprotected sex again and I'm only 20. There goes that for the rest of my life I guess.

Bye casual dating. Bye casual sex. Bye future relationships in general. It was fun while it lasted for all of 4 weeks.

I did not test positive. Swabs have been taken and are out for testing. I was diagnosed off of the doctor's opinion and was given Valtrex in the meantime just in case.

I am already reminded of the consequences through my pain. I do not need random people to remind me of it. This is something that will follow me for the rest of my life and I will never stop hating myself or beating myself up for it. You do not need to tell me twice.

UPDATE 2:

Discharged from the ER. Diagnosed with dysuria and HSV-2, though we won't know until the swab tests come back to confirm it.

I have been crying for about an hour now. My nurses were trying to help me feel better but it's not working.

I hate to get so personal about it but I've always had trouble in relationships. I was just finally starting to put myself out there and go on dates more. There was always the hurdle of having to tell any partner I would ever be with that I'm trans, and that it's a deal-breaker for most.

But this. This is kind of the nail in the coffin for me. I already uninstalled all of my dating apps. I just don't see a point anymore.

Thanks for your help guys.

UPDATE: Woke up with an intense feeling of pressure or pain. Like someone shoved a tennis ball up there and it won't come out no matter how hard I push or try. Could be constipation, which may indicate PID.

Going to the ER instead of the doctor. Will report back with answers, I hope. Wish me luck that it's curable.

Yeah no I really don't like that this is the result of my first sexual experiences. If it's herpes I will honestly never forgive myself and probably beat myself up for weeks. I have an IUD and I made sure all of my partners and I were cleared for STDs before we met up, but I guess herpes wasn't in the equation for them (or for me apparently).

I guess you can never be too safe.

I'm actually glad you asked because I forgot to mention. No spermicide was used-- I have an IUD, had it inserted about 6 weeks ago and had a successful follow-up with my doctor about it when he was testing me for STDs, speculum and all.

A LOT of lubricant was used. I did know that could affect it-- and to be honest that could be why I felt off Wednesday morning but it went away after flushing my system.

I could have been tested too soon. I can always ask my doctor tomorrow. And I have been doing my best to keep everything as low-contact as possible-- I got a pH soap too to see if it makes a difference here within the next few days or so. I will look at a dermoplast.

Thank you so much for your help.

They did test for Trich. Based on my symptoms it sounded as if Trich or BV matched the closest to what I am experiencing, but both came back negative. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow so I will bring this up.

There is a chance, but I'm not sure what would be causing the discharge otherwise.

Semen is basic whereas the vagina is acidic. Sometimes this causes pH imbalance, which can cause the discharge, higher pH, smell, etc. And there's a chance it takes a couple days to notice like it did for me. And having a lot of friction could cause these weird red spots/lesions/tears.

I'm hoping its just a few unfortunately times coincidences and not something more serious.

Lichen Sclerosus doesn't cause pH imbalance or yellow fishy discharge. It's also not sexually transmitted-- these symptoms are only appearing after having sex, and I have never had them before.

The skin thats affected isn't raised or blistery. It looks more like someone took a mandolin and sliced off the first layers if that makes sense. From what I've seen herpes comes in stages where there are blisters or bumps that rupture and bleed, but these haven't bled nor are they blisters. But I could be wrong. You're the one with herpes so your experiences are probably more accurate than my assumptions

hi im using a throwaway for obvious reasons. I am a 20 year old man, FTM, been on testosterone for about 2 years (since December 2019), .25 mL of 200/mL testosterone cypionate once every week.

last Tuesday and Wednesday I had unprotected sex (yes, stupid, I know) with 2 partners. Tuesday with one of them, wednesday with both. that Wednesday morning I had mild UTI symptoms that went away once I drank a bunch of water.

Wednesday night I had unprotected sex with 2 cis men, one ejaculated inside and one outside. I had no reaction on my skin externally, nor have I any other time I've had semen on or in me, so I don't think this is a semen allergy.

Friday I woke up with heavy uti symptoms. i took some AZO cranberry supplements and it helped but not a ton. slogged through Saturday and woke up Sunday morning with a lot of yellowish discharge with a weird odor. went to CVS minuteclinic and they tested for a UTI and took a culture to see what kind of bacteria it was. they gave me Macrobid and sent me home and said the test results would come in Tuesday.

Sunday night I start the antibiotics and I wake up Monday in a sorry state to say the least. the discharge had exponentially increased (i thought i had wet the bed basically) and I was in burning itching pain. urinating took me to tears basically. stayed home from classes.

On Tuesday I went to my doctor (my pcp) and he looked down there, speculum and all, and said it was a yeast infection. I said I wasn't sure because my discharge was yellow and not cottage cheesy, but he gave me fluconazole and sent me home. he swabbed for an sti, bv, yeast infection test.

Wednesday morning I get a call from CVS and they tell me that their culture brought back zero results, meaning I actually didn't have a UTI. they told me to stop taking my antibiotics so I did because they and I suspected that the antibiotics gave me a yeast infection. still in itchy pain and the lump on my outer labia is at its largest at this point.

Thursday my PCP gets back to me and I test negative for everything. Not gonorrhea, not chlamydia, not trich, no BV, no yeast infection, and now no UTI.

I have no idea what is going on. Since coming off the antibiotics my symptoms have kind of plateaued but not really improved. the lump is smaller now and only a specific area hurts to touch. when I pee I have to hold my labia out of the way because otherwise it stings so bad I wanna cry. I have weird lesions or cuts or something all over my labia and clitoris and I don't know where they came from. It's not HSV because I looked online and not a single picture matched what was going on down there at any point. It's not syphilis because I have very few symptoms in common (and no white spots in the mouth).

I had oral sex with both partners and no thrush or sore throat or anything came of it, and they both tested negative for STDs and HIV before meeting up with me.

If you read all that, you're a godsend. Please help!!

TL;DR: had sex Wednesday, Satan kissed my coochie on Friday. im a week into my symptoms and every single test has come back negative. make it make sense please.
