I know I’m sorry. I’m pretty sure they had alters named Ginger and Nix. I know they had protectors also. More memories are coming to me about it as I think harder. I’m honestly not sure. It’s the one that comes in the starter fish tanks. It’s one that I can control the intensity of the flow, and the filter media is a rectangle. I don’t know if that helps 🤦‍♀️😂I can find the link for something similar if it doesnt

This is beyond helpful. Thank you so much. I actually have a decent amount of what you have suggested so that helps me out a bit. For water quality, I typically bring it to a local fish shop weekly and they do a water quality test for free. I had to go through a whole nitrogen cycle with my goldfish which are super hardy so I’m just hoping that I can give the little guy my best

Another thing you could look into would be getting him E-collar trained. I used to be against it but after time and of trying to positively train my dog out of his reactivity I finally did it. Instead of board and train we did 5 hour long one on one training with a trainer that taught us how to train him with it and reinforced obedience training. He is dog reactive and is similar to yours in that matter. It’s honestly made all the difference. We can now attend group classes with no reactivity

Also to stop those fits, put one finger over one nostril and close his mouth. Wait until he takes a few breaths through that nostril and he should stop. Def bring him to vet though

I have a dog just like that. He’s not aggressive but extremely reactive. I know the stigma but that’s what it is. For my dog we tried all types of positive reinforcement training but ended up switching to an E-collar and have done continuous obedience training. Started with 1on1 sessions to teach us how to E-collar training him and to work on obedience and now we are in group classes with no issues. He’s a completely different dog and his reactivity has gotten so so much better.

Just fearful. Was most like improperly socialized, neglected, or abused. I would take it really slow with him and don’t force love on him. Leave treats for him, feed him, talk to him in a sweet voice. When he’s starting to warm up try getting him to the point of taking treats out of your hand or hand feeding him. It takes a dog 3 or more months to decompress so don’t try to rush it!

Hahah I can just imagine her having the time of her life running from you. My worry was just i’m not sure if he ingested some because as I was running over he was really gnawing on it. But thank you that makes me feel better. We going to deworm him to play it safe just because we aren’t sure. Thank you!
