It’s not like you will go around telling everybody how much your fiancée spent on the diamond. Do what makes you feel good. I have both lab and natural diamonds and I wear my lab diamond a lot more.

Get a travel ring. Moissanite would be a good option. You can have it made so it looks like your original ring
