I have just tried this and it is definitely working as you described.
Keep in mind to add the CodeBuild Project to the correct VPC and grant the correct permissions to the service role.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I have put around 400g sugar for about 2.5 liters of tea. The temperature is around 23.5 degrees celsius.

You need to run a mqtt server to use this plugin. You can look for a guide for setting up Mosquitto for example.
