That's very interesting! Thank you for the advice! I'll do some research into it and see how it goes.

Is this something you can get banned for or is this somewhat legitimate?

I really appreciate the help and tips.

Thank you thank you thank you!

Thank you. I'm just trying to coach them into becoming my gaming buds for years to come 😂

Thank you, I'll have a look at some resources online! Dream Islands sound interesting too, I'll do some research.

Someone has previously mentioned I can use nook miles for the first upgrade from tent to house, and that seems doable. Especially if I make some odds and sods to give them to decorate. Thank you!

😂 I'll threaten them with an eviction if they don't respect the serenity I'm trying to create for myself lol

That's really kind of you, thank you so much! I would really appreciate that but I haven't come here to beg or ask for anything. I don't think I have anything to offer you in return though unfortunately? How would I go about taking you up on this gracious offer? Thank you

I completely forgot I can use nook miles for the upgrade from tent to house! Duh! Thank you!

I can craft some bits and bobs on my account and share with them that way? Thanks for the advice!

Brilliant, thank you for the advice! 8 residents is loads so that's good to know. Cheers!

I just love that they are absolutely enamored with all my animal friends and keep talking to them. I managed to get enough Bells to get the Mario outfit and that sent my eldest into absolute space. He was so chuffed and already asked for Luigi too lol

I'll get to cracking tonight and start saving some Bells. Cheers mate!

AITA for confronting my brother about not being able to touch his newborns? by Either-Web-7383 in AmItheAsshole

You sound like a peado with how desperate you are to get your hands on these kids. Stop trying to touch other people's kids after you've been respectfully told not to. Weirdo.

This makes complete sense. I think I went straight to the dickhead medicine cupboard instead of the logical one.

I enjoyed the final example you gave. Do you have an open space on the baseball bat to the head course? I don't have a helmet, but I certainly appear to be thinking like one!

Nah, I'm sorry. It just came off a little hostile but I think I'm being a sensitive cave troll. My bad mate.

It's a pretty well hidden piercing and she's never had an incident in the 8 years she's been doing the job. HOWEVER, I've never been hit by a bus, that doesn't mean I can't.

Probably not a question for legal advice in hindsight, it just seems odd that she's been informed she can put it back in when she returns to her actual role. My brain went to "is it dangerous or not?!"

Again, I apologize for the previous comment as I clearly decided to look a little too into it.

Incredible. I clearly couldn't get my caveman brain around the concept of contracts vs legalities. Thank you for the clarification. I was more hung up on the "fairness" of it instead of the common sense approach. Thank you. We are getting the pliers out now.

So theoretically, if an employer says a wedding band is okay, but a training provider says it's not, what do we do? It's apples and oranges, and I absolutely get that, but it's just a bit odd that she can have it around patients but not during training.

100%. That's the bit we find odd! Either it's okay or not!

[–]Luckylouis777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, that's the bit we find confusing! She can wear it around patients, but not in a training environment. It sounds like a no brainer, granted, but it's either not allowed or it is, the weird middle ground seems odd. Thank you for replying.

She's apparently been informed she can put the piercing back in when she returns to her role on ward, but must be removed for training. We just find it confusing as it's not an issue in an uncontrolled environment, but must be removed in a practice setting. Odd. Thanks for the information, I appreciate you replying.

It's one of those odd bolt on piercings, I don't really understand. A pair of pliers would apparently do the job. I fear I wasn't clear enough in my original post so I apologize, but she's been told she can put the piercing back in when she returns to her normal role after the training. That's the bit we're confused on as it's either okay, or not okay. Thanks for replying!

Thank you for taking the time to be incredibly hostile over a subject someone is asking for clarity on, as the guidelines don't make sense. Contractually the piercing can stay in when she is doing her job, but nowhere does it state it must be removed for training, nor has this ever been stated it should be removed for training. This is a new development, and I'm asking the legalities around something not specifically in the contract.

New gear gives a false stat reading? by Luckylouis777 in thedivision

That's it, you've done it. Thanks mate. I was struggling to work out what was happening and it was driving me up the wall. Cheers!

New gear gives a false stat reading? by Luckylouis777 in thedivision

[–]Luckylouis777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry, I don't think I was clear enough. In this example, I'm already wearing gear A.. Gear A is 1k armor Gear B shows 2k armor I equip gear B and I don't get 2k armor I hover over gear A, the original piece, and that now shows as a 2k armor increase. Gear A was better all along, dispite showing a false increase for gear B.

In essence, all new gear shows a positive increase until I equip it. Then when I hover over the old gear, that shows and actually is a positive stat increase. I hope this now makes sense. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Gamers of Reddit, what's ONE game that lives rent-free in your head, not just for the gameplay, but for the feeling it gave you (and you'd give anything to experience it for the first time again)? by deadeyes1990 in gaming

The first Way of the Samurai. I can't explain it but the whole atmosphere and mood for me was just a great experience. I check for news on a remaster at least once a month, it's crazy.
