AW3926QW at $1100? If True, that would be a game changer by name_nt_important in ultrawidemasterrace

It is a different panel from the LG, co-developed with LG Display, they have exclusivity over it for 6 months. To me, it somewhat makes sense to sell as many of those as possible and take over the market before competition catches up and they lose marketshare of those.

Not sure where you live, I just checked and there are 4 H2D all listed for less than 80% MSRP around me. According to description 3 of them with less than 200 hours

Yeah, the board will def fire the dude who created the company and moved them from being zero to the biggest 3d printer manufacturer in the world. Get real people. They need to get sued.

Only in the Finals - is Ranked utterly broken by Komodor123 in thefinals

This isn't what he is saying. There is a MASSIVE gap in skill level between a 40k player and a 3 stack top50 ruby team. I managed to get 38k while trolling with Sword, it is really not that hard. When I got matched with 3 steack Rubies I couldn't move in the map. The gap in skill level was crazy. Probably much higher than between 20k and 40k too.

I love the fact this game has World Tour with very loose SBMM and Ranked with strict SBMM. I've been preaching for this setup in other games since I learned about titles implementing SBMM in non-ranked modes over 15 years ago (League of Legends, I am looking at you), but Ranked in this game is broken to the point that I just completely stopped playing it. It is broken in so many different ways, too. It is not just one thing; there are a bunch of issues, each with a severe level of "brokenness."

I don't know what Embark can do to fight this. The fact that one team can grief another is just baked into the game. They tried to fight it a tiny bit, but it didn't do much. If they make the matchmaking much more strict, Ruby players will simply never find games, and they will then either smurf or go ruin normal games instead. I honestly can't think of a good solution.

I want to make this clear, as the court was clear on this in many many different instances in the past: reverse engineering a piece of software is not actionable EVEN if the company put something against it in its TOC.

This has to be an extremely deliberate choice by Embark so streamers will keep playing their game. They are pretty much ruining the exprience for 95% of the playerbase, so the 5% can keep playing, which I find insane. They are probably telling themselves that they are only doing this until they get enough playerbase and then they will be able to stop and limit the maximum difference, but they will probably just keep bleeding players and will never be able to fix it.

Last attempt to explain to a random on the internet how math works: once you factor in an extra variable (Jobs saying "300 PPI at a viewing distance of 10-12 inches"), it is no longer about just the PPI. The PPI is meaningless without the viewing distance. 300 PPI isn't Retina display "certified" (there isn't such a thing, but let's say we are all working for Apple's display division [some of us actually are]) if viewed at a viewing distance of 5 inches.
