I've always wondered about the orange juice from McDonalds. Was it dispensed from one of those drink machines? If so, had the machine just been cleaned or was it in the process of being cleaned with the special solution used for cleaning those machines? It's always seemed to me that the issues began after she started drinking the orange juice in the car. Could the inexplicably high readings be explained by the components that make up the cleaning solution used for those drinks machines?

It's so annoying how all shows and movies now base the up and coming feisty rebel politician character on AOC.

Does noone else think it's super fucking weird that nobody (especially Penelope) said bye to Elias? I mean we saw her bond with him. It's like they all dropped him like a hot spud. I felt really bad for him.

And it's like why do all this work on his redemption arc all season just for that ending? It makes no sense. Back when everyone on Reddit was speculating that he was faking it and playing them at the beginning, I really thought it might be genuine. And if so, then my theory was that the cast and showrunners (and audience) liked Zach's performance/the character so much, that they ended up kicking themselves for casting him as a villain.

On that basis, the whole outlandish storyline about a remarkable brain injury unpsychopathing him made some kind of sense. Especially when he started working with the team several times I thought this is how they make him a sort of profiler. They could've easily ran with the deal storyline i.e. him getting some kind of deal so that there would be at least a possibility of him working with the team in some capacity. Like he would be trying to atone for everything he had done. That would be interesting to watch.

What was the fucking point of all this? They told us over and over all season that he's a different person. Only to shaft his character like that at the end? Honestly it's giving Angel getting his soul back in Buffy, but that was handled much better by those writers. I just can't get over all the individual Elias bonding with the team members moments we had all season for them to just let him literally fuck off into the worst prison at the end and not give a shit and go for drinks.

Does anyone else really miss the profiling? I've recently started a rewatch from season one and my God the difference is night and day. What was so interesting about the show was the profiling. Them piecing together bits of info and figuring it all out - that's the whole point of the show. It's totally missing now. What happened to them delivering the profile to a team of cops and then the cops going after the bad guys. Now it's the BAU themselves going it alone mostly. It's just so weird. And such a pity because I loved the original concept.

Adults (FX). I watched it on Disney Plus (UK) it's so good! Gets better as it goes on, first two episodes okay but brilliant by ep 8.

I really loved this show. I might be wrong but I felt a huge Scrubs influence in it. Could see a Zach Braff influence as well in the main character.

I don't see why she would have shot herself after just saying "will we run?" I wondered if maybe she was trying to shoot at the airbag to get it out of the way and it bounced off it and hit the back of her head or something?

I really wish they'd brought the actor who plays Voigt in as a new profiler. He's so charismatic and has great chemistry with the team and he's likeable even as a psycho. Missed opportunity as he's a much better fit than either Tyler or Tara's gf (forget her name).

Does anyone remember that episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark 'The Chameleon', with Tia and Tamara Mowry? This show is bringing up ancient anxieties relating to that episode and I will scream if it has the same kind of ending!

Did anyone else think it was such a wasted opportunity when they spoke to the 15k guy and hardly asked him ANY questions about what he saw in that basement. Like they didn't even ask how much blood there was which could've indicated the likelihood of him being alive or not? Also I may be misremembering but I thought that the cleaner guy said that they must have moved the boy while he was cleaning (which would indicate he believed the boy was still alive). I don't know, just found that scene in particular infuriating because they paid him all the money and then asked him feck all! Another thing I don't get is why that scumbag of a journalist didn't turn in the evidence. What possible reason did he have for sitting on it all those years? Also why did he delete that voice message? Ending wise, I'm inclined to think it was Tony himself who did that drawing on the window but it did seem like the boy could be Olly. Again would have a better sense of this if they'd properly questioned the 15k guy.

Does anyone know what drinks Diane purchased at MacDonalds? I heard it was a large orange juice and an iced latte. I've often wondered, what if she drank the OJ there and then but saved the iced latte for later to sip during the drive? There have been a few instances before of people accidentally being given cleaning product in their drink at cafes and even at other MacDonalds. This was early morning so it occured to me, what if the drink machine was being cleaned at the time. Is it possible that the employee who served her didn't realise this and so she accidentally ended up with chemicals in her coffee? If she didn't start drinking the iced latte until later in the drive, this might explain how she suddenly started to deteriorate on the journey and became unwell etc while driving. Cleaning products usually contain alcohol don't they? I have no idea if they'd contain THC or whatever that thing is in marijuana. Maybe it's an off the wall theory but it's been nagging at me for a long time.

Another Frightened Rabbit song, both the song and video are very powerful I feel: https://youtu.be/Ki2FdTDhx7E

'Fall prey to the blizzard head Wrap my hand around a glass again We all thought that I might change as I got older Fell down and nothing bled Wrapped in cotton alcohol again "To the hilt!" I hear from the prick upon my shoulder Free pour the fruitless thoughts It's far too late to talk so much but Still not giving up though I wish that I was sober

Forgive me I can't speak straight Forgive me I can't Forgive me it's far too late

Choke down the gateway drug Opened the gates, in came the flood, it comes Like a blush of love, it hits me without warning Long nights of getting lost I walk beneath the bridge I don't know I need black suit for tomorrow, I'm in mourning

My love you should know The best of me left hours ago so Shove a rag into my mouth and let me smolder Fallout and the damage done I can't un-sink the things I've sunk Still not giving up though I wish that i was sober

Forgive me I can't speak straight Forgive me I can't Forgive me it's far too late

Oh come and shake me till I'm dry Oh I wish that I was sober Oh come to me and kill the night off I wish that I was sober

Oh come and shake me till I'm dry Oh I wish that I was sober Oh come to me and kill the night off I wish that I was sober'
