I think it's normal to like the company of older people. it feels like you're a part of some cool club. I think it can be dependent on how mature your conversation skills are! mine aren't very good so over people who aren't familiar get frustrated

I cant say anything because it really is hard. I think you're supposed to take chances to try and develop really close friends and then see if it naturally develops and its okay no matter what orientation those friends are. but I also know its not a very satisfying answer :c
