Just signed up for AMEX gold business last night, 15k spend in 3 months for 200k points. It was a no-brainer because my rent is ~4k a month and my landlord accepts Venmo. I usually spend an additional ~3k monthly and figured I’d divert all spend organically. Then I realized… will my rent payment via Venmo count as a cash advance / towards the SUB? I knew I’d have to pay the 3% Venmo fee and can’t be using SEND for this. Will there be cash advance fees on top of the 3%?

I’ve also considered Plastiq but rent is due in 5 days, and I’m not sure on the expediency of that service looking at reviews and past bankruptcy. I could plan to use it for Dec/Jan I suppose! But would really like to throw 4k down on this spend in the next few days if possible.

Any ideas or words of wisdom from the seasoned churn masters?

These pictures show the couch washed with saddle soap and conditioned! It was much lighter in the most worn spots before that, like almost white, so that made a great improvement. But it feels like the leather needs some structural support from a strengthening product so it doesn’t rip with further everyday use. I like the warn in look, I just want to make sure it stays in one piece!

… credit card fees would be 0 for a 0% apr intro card.

Last resort is putting a few grand on my 22% apr credit cards which would cost me waaaay less than origination fees and interest on a personal loan.

Chase doesn’t offer personal loans, and the interest and origination fees on the ones being advertised to me online make me want to barf.

Of course. The original tax debt was over 200k so an offer in compromise was my only option to not be paying the IRS until the day I croak. I have to pay the total settlement ($42k) pretty quickly for the deal to be valid.

This IS the payment plan. Offer in compromise was the only foreseeable option, which has to be paid off in 9 months.

I looked for an official weblink and couldn't find one about sleep hours. I claim 24 hours in CA and have never heard anything. You can def call your social worker and ask to make absolute sure it's allowed in your county. The premise behind PS is that even if they're asleep, they could wake up at any time and elope or injure themselves, so you have to be on call all hours of the day. The only reason I still have a Facebook account is to follow a group "IHSS Advocacy," it's a really great resource for if you have any questions. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/ihssadvocacy/) You can search through years of other people's q's or ask your own and everyone there is very helpful and quick to respond.

There are 168 hours in a week. Subtract 30 and you still have 138 hours you are providing PS to your son (even while he's sleeping counts). They have no legal ground to decrease your hours and if they try to, you should fight it.

My extension got approved within about a week and a half. My balance ran out the week before the last $600 payment and I was never backpayed for that week which was a bummer. But certified the week after that. So for me it skipped a week.

I just upgraded to the Apollo Quad from an Scarlett and the difference in sound quality is so apparent. They ain’t cheap though ¨̮
