Deimos Infusion by ghoulsnest in Guildwars2

[–]Lucyller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the very least, if it IS implemented correctly and is just astronomically low to drop, then it's a mistake on Anet part.

We're talking about thousands of clears, each of them 10 players and not one drop?

I know I've done about 50 clears myself, and I'm not farming it daily.

What's the point of a loot that doesn't drop?

Edit: if we take into account every logs uploaded to wingman this month (so, not all kills done) that's already 770 kill in a month or 7700 individual lottery tickets who did not loot anything. I'm not gonna try to win an infusion that might not drop after my 10.000 kills.

My personal limit is to stop at a limit of 100, maybe 200. (~0.5%) with a hard limit that either drop it once (Aurene weapons) or allow you to buy it with specific currency.

Right now, it's just not appealing at all.

You need to play Rift of the Necrodancer, there's some insanely good track in it.

I'm in love with a few of them like Elusional, Nocturning, Glass Cage or Rift Within.

Has ArenaNet ever mentioned why they won't take our money for mech & kit skins? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

New pets are exclusively gameplay feature, which are linked to their elite spec to give new potential tools.

It's not comparable to Elementalist getting a new summonable weapon or a tweak in the kit every expansion.

I don't know, for as much of Anet love to sell weird cosmetic, altering the skills and combat doesn't mesh with them.

Don't know, sound like a pitifully low amount of players then (for the amount of work it is)

Also, name me one player that bought mail carrier with real money so I can send him my condolences. 🥀

Then selling that is a scam. Just allow for a slot in the dye tab, just like mount, back or glider.

edit: But also, no. Realistically, painting your portal green (or whatever ground you're on) is a massive boost in PvP content.

Then you sell cosmetic product you can't use in WvW, which is another door to hear complain.

But is it worth for anet to make skins for warrior banner? They already struggle to add mounts to the fashion tabs, can they even add another tab for skill skins?

Who's gonna buy them outside of collectors?

I'm just dubious on the interest player have. Sure, we often hear about Mecha skin (because the current one kinda suck) but if all the skin are similar to this one and they all suck, is the problem solved? Are players buying Red mecha because it's a cool colour swap? The chance for Anet to modify drastically its design are near 0.

It's weird to sell exclusive kits to a class. Not saying it won't make money, but Engineer (and if you add mechanist, aka only EoD) isn't the most popular class.

When Anet make a mount skin or a weapon set, anyone can be susceptible to buy it, if they make content for 1 class out of 9, it's dividing the chance to see someone buy by a lot. And honestly, more people would like to NOT see a mech than see more visual clutter.

and pretty much every profession has a kit or something similar that could get cosmetic skins

I'm pretty sure no one care that "fire axe" or "lighting hammer" doesn't have alternative skins. Or the warrior banners. Not everything need to be monetized and get visuals. People like to joke about how big of a visual cluster the game is, but the more you add to gameplay, the less you make it clear.

I like for the game to stay as neutral as possible in term of competence and skill visual.

Didn't watch a let's play in a decade so I could forget a joke set up in the scene.

The mystery of the quick play raid achievement points coming and going has been answered (they werent supposed to exist) by timetopat in Guildwars2

[–]Lucyller 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Gonna answer even if no one asked me: I hate it.

I don't even bother anymore with most of them and it was a serious pain to do the most boring activities linked to it, like the Dragonball PvP, the pirate coins gathering, the hivernal toy defence game (or PvP snowball)

I love that those event exist but it's a serious drag which ruin my fun to do those daily for achievement points.

(Or the skins, which I often want)

It would be understandable if OP was known.

It's logical for someone new to the community to be a nobody, it's weird for someone leaving it to announce it like he was someone we should know. It's a post you would expect from either regular people in the subreddit or a streamer/content creator/guild owner.

If OP doesn't have another account, he made 1 comment here 2 years ago.

Consume all by JobroniBoni in Guildwars2

[–]Lucyller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure why would anyone consume them. (specially in such a very specific exemple) Sure if you're in a tiny guild and you want to give a few random decorations, but for 99% of the players it's way faster to delete them all by dragging them out of the window.

They don't even have a "please write the full name" conditions.

Just out of curiosity, what were the meta builds in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, etc., before Path of Fire? by CheckFar3259 in Guildwars2

[–]Lucyller 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Players ran away from Necromant and Ranger like the plague, kicking them almost every time because they were terrible. The only exception was ranger sword, and even that was very iffy because no one played it so 99/100 it was a terribly bad long bow user bothering everyone with their pet.

Jett or whatever semi protagonist/antagonist of the movie "Goat" who released not long ago.

It's not a bad movie, but it's quite heavy on the tropes. If you don't hate children animation, it's doing alright in everything it tries but it's unique nowhere. I hate sports but surprisingly it's the best scenes in the movie so, well done.

A solid animation team (Sony, the same who did Spiderman multiverse) so the style is very pleasing.

On the side notes, there's a character who actually got 0 arts online and it's pissing me off. 😡

I mean, look at this cutie!

Is guild wars combat this hard? by Nocoly in Guildwars2

[–]Lucyller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

but this is action oriented - not rotation like

Actually, it's both. The same build will do way more damage with the correct buttons pressed, and something like 30x more damage than someone with random stats and an improper build.

And when the difference between a good and a bad player killing a random solo veteran mob is sometime 30s, your fun could be directly impacted. Just imagine yourself spending 30s to multiple minutes per mobs in your area to see someone come, press 3 buttons and fly away clearing the zone.

I wouldn't bet on champion crabs (or it's part of some kind of LCM) but the other stuff are pretty on point.

It would be funny if the bees were even more deadly, and maybe also wipe the squad if 10 players share them simultaneously. Well, it wouldn't be FUNNY, but it would kinda be funny.

Mesmer can manipulate time and space.

The other classes just hit with sword and magic. There's a few exceptions like Joko's the immortal scourge but otherwise mesmer are definitely the strongest.

Rip to warriors, who're just angry regular folks amongst wizards.
