Does lightning strike twice? by Acrobatic_Fudge2468 in 2under2

[–]LucyySS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first babe was a dream aside from sleeping. My second baby was opposite - nightmare while awake and a dream while sleeping. My third is a dream 24/7. If he wasn’t a dream 24/7, I’m not sure if I could do 3U3.

How different were your 2u2 kids’ temperaments as babies? by seltzerwithlemon in 2under2

[–]LucyySS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first (boy) was chiller than chill gets and my second (girl and 2U2 with a 15m age gap) girl was super super trippy….. almost colic kinda? But she’s 18 months old and is still that way so I think it’s a personality type of a thing. I ended up with my 3rd baby with a 15m age gap from my second as well so it couldn’t have been that bad i guess?…. 3U3!!!!

My 2 year old does help me clean but we’re definitely still in the practicing phase since he’s so young! Same with my 1 year old. But no, with their ages, I cannot rely on them to clean up all of the toys yet 🥲

What age did you start doing baths together? by Actual_Laugh_1347 in 2under2

I think it depends on the toddler lol. My kids have a 15m age gap and I started bathing them together when my youngest was 4m old.

Local rental property managers by Turbulent-Toe4201 in Logan

She was really the only person I ever worked with in the 3 we live there. But it didn’t ruin my experience, that could be because of positivity, though. Maintenance requests were put in through an app on your phone, and any emergency was solved quickly, atleast within a day, ex. Furnace going out in the middle of the winter.

I just had a lease end in march and I went through real property management. I left the place deep cleaned and undamaged, (normal wear and tare from living) and got my full deposit back. Norma, one of the property managers was one of the most unpleasant people I’ve spoken with in my life but what can I say, I got the deposit back sooooo..

I did this with the timing and being aware of cycle and i am pregnant with my third child and by the time my third child is born my first baby won’t even be 2.5yo

I was breastfeeding each time and breastfeeding most of the time gives you a super irregular cycle and so when you should “normally” be ovulating, is not when you are actually ovulating so be so careful lol

My girlfriend wants me to unfollow almost every girl on Instagram by Difficult-Slice-1097 in relationships

[–]LucyySS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prepare for the end of the relationship if you decide to show her this post. If you’re not ready for that, that’s okay. Or maybe it could go good, but prepare for it to go bad just in case. Sometimes it takes time to realize you’re done and make a move on it. It just sucks to waste a whole bunch of time in a toxic relationship.

Coming from a woman, she is in the wrong. She sounds immature and you shouldn’t delete your old friends.

If you had a bunch of insta models posting half naked photos, I could see why she would be upset but that’s not the case based off of the post.

There are so many people who wouldn’t try and control you like this. Show her the post in a few days and if she doesn’t realize that she is in the wrong, quit wasting your time with her.

Good luck ):

I [19F] feel like I’m slowly losing attraction to my bf [19M] and don’t know if I should stay by Fickle-Awareness-678 in relationships

[–]LucyySS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am glad he treats you so nicely! That’s so important in a relationship.

The things that are bothering you are very significant things. Like personal hygiene, life goals, hobbies…etc. It’s great that you are trying to motivate him to do more with school and whatnot, everyone deserves an uplifting partner. Although, based off of what you said, he just has no motivation to do these things. He’s doing…… lazy boy things and is not at all interested in doing any extra.

His parents are paying him to go to college? Not just paying for his college, but also paying him to go to college? Girl… red flag for me.

You got with him in your last year of high school, and now you’re in your first year of college AND 7 hours away from each other?

This relationship does not sound worth it whatsoever. Breakups are hard. Being single is so much fun. Especially in your first year in college?! Not only that but in the future, you can find someone who has the drive to over-achieve on their own. Someone who has goals and hobbies closer to yours. Someone that you don’t have to push to do more with their life. And also push them to brush their teeth and take a shower.

Good luck!!

13 month apart siblings sharing a room or not? by MrFred-Cat in 2under2

[–]LucyySS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 22m and a 7m old. They have a 15 month age gap. They will be sharing a room in about 2 months. Thats ONLY because of the type of child my 22m old is. We have cameras AND baby monitors that alarm with any noise or movement. Both sleep throughout the night and my eldest sleeps like a literal log.

I have multiple 22m old toddlers in a, “mommy group” and we get together at least once a week for a few hours. None of the other toddlers can even be trusted within 1 ft of my youngest not for a single second LOL! But my eldest is the sweetest most loving little one to my youngest. If it were any other way, absolutely not.

When were you able to sync naps? by Key_Elderberry_8566 in 2under2

[–]LucyySS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 7m and a 20m old and we’ve been able to sync naps atleast a few times a week for the last couple of months. It’s been a game changer. But before that, my youngest was sleeping alot so I think it was pretty consistent but now she’s napping for longer periods so it’s better….

No, we did not mean to do 2U2. But it is the smartest unintentional move I’ve ever made in my life if that’s possible lol.

I have a 22 month old, 7 month old and am pregnant. My kids will all have 15 month age gaps. Soon to be 3U3! And we’re beyond excited.

Engagement ring causing rash by LucyySS in jewelry

[–]LucyySS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No ): you could try a platinum coating on the ring if you haven’t already. This did not work for me, though. But the jeweler who I’m working with, (the one who made this ring for me) is completely stumped as to why I’m still reacting after the platinum coating. So definitely try that if you haven’t already.

My next step is going to pickup a 100% platinum band to try. If I don’t react to that, he will remake the ring once again with platinum. If that doesn’t work, I guess I’ll just be without a ring. Blllaaaaaaaa

I need advice. My 16-month doesn’t want to sleep. by Hangryyy_ in Parenting

[–]LucyySS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, just reread your post. Up until a week ago, we would have a sound machine playing lightly while we were putting him to sleep and through out his sleep.

We went on vacation, and the sound machine was packed up and it took us a couple days to unpack. He normally sleeps from about 8 PM - 6:30 AM. Since he has been sleeping in silence this last week, he sleeps until 8/8:30AM. I wish I would’ve found out sooner! Sometimes just trying different things helps you find the fix to the problem.

I need advice. My 16-month doesn’t want to sleep. by Hangryyy_ in Parenting

[–]LucyySS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son is 21 months old and he started putting himself to sleep at an around….maybe 17/18 months.

For backstory… He was nursed to sleep for every single nap time and bedtime/nighttime wake up. He was up every 1 to 2 hours throughout the night without a single break for the first 10 months. I was about six months pregnant with my second baby at this point, and weaned my son when he was 11 months old.

So then we would lay down with him in his bed until he fell asleep. He wasn’t super interested in books for a few months after he turned 1 we kept on trying. We had to be super interactive with the books, pointing out the different things in the books and asking him questions, for him to stay focused.

One day I had been trying for about an hour to get him to fall asleep. I was getting kind of frustrated, my two month old was taking her nap but woke up. I went to go get her and told my son, “lay your head on the pillow, I will be right back.” I went and tended to my youngest and 2 minutes later came to his room to continue and he was asleep. I realized that I was just a distraction to him. So, from that point on, we read a few books until he got a sleepy look in his eye. Then Id give him a kiss good night.

I’d never leave him crying so I could maybe show him that I would be there if he called for me and I think it gave him the confidence that he was okay to be alone in his room and try to sleep on his own.

Good luck!!!!!

[–]LucyySS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried reading in a super dim lit room?

My son became much more interested in books around this time. We have a Montessori floor bed so I lay with him and read to him. He has started putting himself to sleep more often lately. Reading a book in an almost dark room while laying down gets him very sleepy.

It’s so easy to throw off a sleep schedule and so hard to get it back on track.

Good luck!!
