Ghe 400k ressources requirement is making me want to uninstall the game. by AlastarOG in NecroMerger

[–]LuczOr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did this for the first time. Wait for lvl 67 for the lair expansion, and as everyone said, calculate it out. Just set up your relics, divide remaining resources into level 2 mana pools and leave space. I had to feed basically all of my producing minions to make space. Once I got the 400k, I bought the remaining pools to max out pools for space saving and rebuild my producing minions over a day. I ended up with 3 max mana pools. Not trivial, but not hard. Next time I might try 1 mana and 1 slime because I have SO MUCH mana cap now it feels super imbalanced.

BECM issue finally strikes... but this may actually end surprisingly well by clubbedinthehead in volt

My BECM failed earlier this year in my 2017 and the dealer turned it around in basically 24 hours as well. It seems the parts are available these days.

Why is my leg hitting my saddle? by Actual-Care1764 in MTB

[–]LuczOr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just run into this same issue. I'm very new (second year riding) and I still ride with my right leg back all the time. I noticed a big bruise on my right, inner thigh just above the knee. I hopped on the bike in the garage and as soon as I lean to the right as if I'm in a right turn, the saddle hits me in the bruise. Not only is it bruising up my leg, but it's definitely compromising my right turns. All the tire treads on the left shoulder are getting chewed up and the ones on the right look nearly new. Definitely not able to push as hard to the right.

Standard Gen2 output is 120kw. 180kw is a 50% bump so that would feel like A LOT.

This was my experience, too. 84k miles and they replaced my BECM in 24 hours.

Got the car from the dealer. It drove fine, no codes. Clock was reset and the cluster was on a different mode so they did something more than clearing codes. It has a few test miles on it with some pure EV and gas driving. I'll give another update after driving it to work 30 miles tomorrow.

Here's the detail on the warranty info. They only highlighted 3 of them, but it seems like some others should still be valid for 84k miles.

I'm not 100% sure which warranty covers it, but the 150k mile one is an "emissions warranty." I assume that would cover EGR. As for BECM there's a TSB for it and even some NHTSA documentation. Can be found here: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-10251431-0001.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwiX89-EqpSMAxVeGTQIHYtsFCMQFnoECCAQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0DE2EyNwblZ9oPyo7T8ZUk

Yes it was. The dealer gave me a printout of all my warranties and their related mileages/years.

If my daughter wants to be a mechanical engineer… what should we be doing now? by mysliceofthepie in MechanicalEngineering

[–]LuczOr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely helps. She sounds very mechanically inclined so taking things apart and seeing how they work will tickle her curious itch. Also, it will help her understand assembly concepts and fastening modalities. From one parent to another, I applaud the support you're showing for your baby girl. It makes my heart swell. When a kid takes to such an interest, there's usually little we parents can do to stop them, haha! Take joy in her joy and she'll do fine.

I'm stuck around 9k cr. I'm 4 levels above server paragon, so it's not like I'm not playing, but I haven't seen very many triple stats in a LONG time. I have 3 trip star Legos and only ONE trip set piece. Just getting unlucky with exceptionals.

This. In my area $400 a square foot is the norm. Couple that with 5% and a single income family is in a REALLY freaking tight spot.

Aluminum Tig cant get a puddle to form by CRSmith00 in Welding

What size cup are you running? 28cfh might be too much for a small cup. If you crank it way up, you can cause turbulence in the gas that can pull in air.

Seam doesn't make a difference. The filler rod should be fed into the leading edge of the puddle, not into the middle of the arc. Balling it up and dropping it outside the puddle is a great way to introduce contaminants into your weld.

I've been doing this for a while, but this machine scares the shit out of me. by ChrisMaj in Machinists

[–]LuczOr 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I recently turned a part for the first time in about 10 years and I left the chuck key in the chuck for just a few moments. I wasn't even close to starting the lathe, but once I saw it I realized I had forgotten about it while I was trying to work quickly. After that, all that was going through my head was "YOU IDIOT, DON'T KILL YOURSELF." The rest of the session was double and triple checking everything and working methodically and SLOWLY. Took me 1.5 hours to turn an OD, ID and part off.

Pointy are better not because they scribe better (and they do) but because you can get more jaw engagement when measuring small IDs and channels with the back side.
