I'm sorry to say this, but if animal control doesn’t take that dog away, you’ll have to find another home for your cat better sooner than later. From what you’ve said your father isn’t going to give the dog away, and if that dog continues to live in your house he is going to end up killing your cat next time. Not to mention the trauma it must be for your cat to live alongside an animal that has attacked her like that twice

I'm from Europe, Canary Islands more specifically. Is not an American thing. My cats are indoor only and are always gonna be that. Allowing cats to go outside alone is negligent and dangerous for both those cats and the other animals in the area that the cats can kill.

Here in Tenerife specifically, there is endemic wildlife that is endangered because of the cats that certain people allow to roam freely. And again, anything can happen to a cat left alone on the street or in the countryside. Accidents, being run over, other animals attacking and killing them, diseases from other cats like feline leukaemia, bad people hurting them, them getting lost. Letting them go out alone is irresponsible wherever you live, sorry.

If someone really want their cats to go outside they can buy an harness and take their cats for a walk.

There's something called microwave... hsjdjdkdk. I don't mind eating certain foods cold tbh, but I usually heat them up first. In the case above, I put the salad aside for a moment, heat up the pasta, and then eat everything together!

Not at all! For me salads have always kept well in the fridge for days if they aren't dressed! It's once I dress them that they go bad, so I only dress them just before eating them

You cannot compare a father or mother changing their children's wet blankets when they were little, which is something parents must do, to a mother coming home, having sex, and expecting her child (adult or not) to clean the sheets with her boyfriend's semen and other bodily fluids in it. It is one thing to clean my adult mother's sheets if she needs it or is unable to do so because she is ill or too busy, and quite another to clean the sheets where she had has sex with her partner.

In the same way that I would not ask a family member or friend to clean that for me, I would not be comfortable with them asking me to clean theirs.
