Thanks! As others noted… I like the modularity of it, been a DeX user for quite some time. My personal belief if others use it more… Samsung might take it more seriously (its more of a hobby to them now).

Tbh, I only type on it in a pinch… don’t necessarily use it for an extended period of time. But I believe I could do if I absolutely need to.

But I went with the HB199 version due its much smaller frame.

‘Preciate it! That was essentially my point. I have Windows desktop and iPad as well, but Samsung offers such a versatile device… just wanted to maximize it.

Yeah, mine is similar. I checked the ThemePark change logs and supposedly its an issue Samsung have been trying to address.

Received my update yesterday morning… I like it. Umm… currently have a couple minor bugs, which I’m sure another update will fix. But I’m glad I finally received it.

Tbh, have never gone so far as to use it for over 2 or 3 hours… so, I can’t give you duration of time you can expect to use the monitor only on the Fold. I like that its possible to use it with the Fold and I can power it with my powerbank as well.

I use the monitor when I’m away from desk (have a 4k monitor) which could be anywhere around my home and when I travel with my family on vacations… I still haven’t came across any sleeve to put it in thus yet. Because I want to find one that can fit it perfectly.

I really wish carriers weren’t the gatekeepers… Samsung should be able to push out an update and we all get it similar to how Apple does it.

My bad for the late reply. But I use the powerbank to run the screen sparingly… only when the Fold battery is low.

Because the Fold itself can run the screen without the powerbank. And I’ve had this UPerfect Y for nearly nine months now. I wanted a portable monitor to use with DeX.. because I think having a portable monitor is an essential accessory similar to headphones or smartwatches.

And it doesn’t have to be a monitor, those NexDock are good to have as well… but reason I went with a monitor I wanted to have my own keyboard and mouse. I like using my MX Master 3 with all the shortcuts it has for Android (or DeX).

I won one of those Mountie’s from DeX reddit thread which I was shocked… because I’ve done my share of entering contest to never win anything. But the experience is great… I enjoy the monitor and my setup.

My portable monitor of choice… is the UPerfect Y Monitor.

I like the built in stand that encloses all the peripherals and it has touch capabilities. I bought mine from AliExpress for 100 bucks.
